Hi everyone. Very short video, the next one will explain better why I was so short but this was a fly & ride from Virginia to NH in one day (630 miles). I was cold, sore and tired. The bike is now safely stored off-site until the GS is completely done. Then I'll be tearing this thing apart and getting all maintenance done. After, deciding how I can keep the bike with the current fairing or do I convert to an S-model instead. I love the RT fairing. No wind hits me at all but my knees simply don't fit on the bike.
I'm laughing at the comments nobody's knees fit into there RT ? I'm 225 pounds and 5'11 It fits great. Mine is a K100, possible the K75 has a smaller frame. I have thought BMW custom built this bike just for me ? Sorry guy's, maybe they did.
I think the bike has a low seat on it Adam - you can tell by the amount of dishing it has. There was a high seat available and if you can find one that might take you upwards enough to get your legs behind the fairing.
This is such a coincidence. One of my partners just got the exact same bike (same year too) from his father-in-law. I think it will fit him, but if not, this short guy can handle it.
How tall are you? I don't have any trouble with the RT and I'm 5'-8" so a tad short for such a high seat position, the bike though is just a joy to ride, it always puts a smile on my face when I take it out.
I'm 6'3" (33" inseam). It feels great under me. The issue is the RT Fairing itself. It requires you put your knees into these cubbies and when I do, I push the fairing out and away from the bike...I"m about 2" too tall it seems.

Beauty of a bike. Hopefully those inner black trim pieces can be removed to allow room for your knees.

I will buy a k75 soon !
Can’t wait to ride it
Enjoy the new bike!
HAPPY Holidays
