I feel sorry for people who haven’t realized how great this band is. They are so unique and CRUSH IT live! One of the best shows I’ve ever seen was a decade ago, at the Czar in Ybor (Tampa). Datarock opening for Ladytron. Such influential creativity and damn good live drummers. Cheers!
I too am super jealous! I have loved them for a long time, but never got to see them live. Are they touring now? I thought so, but didn't see tix on their website.
This should have million views. As the huge Ladytron fan I am, I love this alot, it defintely has the Ladytron sound which is amazing and unique. Beautiful music! Very underrated, both the song and Ladytron overall. They are one of the best electronic bands ever.
This band excels at creating not only their unique sound, but also such otherworldly vision. They're paired so hauntingly precise that it seems to spark a universe of possibilities in my imagination. I wish other artists could elicit this response in my brains as effortlessly as Ladytron does...
The videos with this actress Vari Ferguson are the best short films, she made another music video for the singer Boy Harsher whose song is called "Fate" very good
You know what, these days when every other fucking indie electronic music producer tag "cyberpunk" on their not-so-sincere and rushed synth music works, Ladytron quietly presented us a real piece of brilliant Cyberpunk work. Respect.
By the gods of Olympus! they keep the mysterious, fun, great style, I love them from the first time I heard them in the SIMS game, then in NEED FOR SPEED CARBON, they gave me back something that I thought was lost.
Alison Moyet once said "I don't do happy", which makes all the difference between meaningless pop stuff, and thought provoking critical music and poetry that builds intelligence. Ladytron also does not do happy! They create art that makes statements. This has got to be one of their darkest and best so far. Somebody here wrote they cannot figure out what it is about. Take a break and figure it out, which may take a long while, because there is so much going on here. I know I will need a while to digest this one myself, despite being familiar with and loving abstract art .....
So delicious What I really love about Ladytrons music is That a lot of their songs rock. You can hear it's very distinctive it's awesome. They can play dance and mix it with a - of rock and roll
The terrifying thing about this music video for "The Island" in retrospect is that it echoes so many parts of the COVID-19 pandemic we all went through. Feeling trapped, having our personal freedoms robbed of us, being quarantined if we contracted the virus, the government trying to control everything and burning the "evidence".
Thank you so much for all those years, I feel so lucky !

I'm very jealous. They are definitely one of the most underrated bands I've ever encountered
Saw Datarock + ModWheelMood open for Ladytron back then too in LA! Awesome time and also bumped into Trent Reznor there!!
I too am super jealous! I have loved them for a long time, but never got to see them live. Are they touring now? I thought so, but didn't see tix on their website.
@@erictroxell715 agreed, they are one of the most underrated bands for sure!
I was at the same show!! Amazing! So glad I went when they came to town
Still loving this track, doesnt feel like 4 years!!?
I hope I’m not the only one who cried like a baby at the end of this
Cher Bear I did too
Nah, i did too.
I did :c
The music, the chorus, the characteristic sound of Ladytron brought tears to my eyes of happiness, does that count?
Right here! Emotionally destroyed

Do androids dream of Ladytron's music ?
😻😻😻
They do.
Yes
Very blade runner....in a very good way!
Deeply

Check out Xeno and Oaklander, similar sound in places
Goosebumps from the very beginning till the end of this song.
This is simply perfection. I am speechless... Greetings from Bulgaria!
Id love to see LADYTRON AND PET SHOP BOYS MAKE MUSIC TOGETHER. THE BEST GENIUS WOULD BE FANTASTIC FOR US TO HEAR
heavily emotional and love the story to it, not matter how sad, it really can be linked to reality in many ways.
Still the great band. Love it
I just love Ladytron.
This album....is...sooooo....GOOOOOOD!!!!!
This is probably their best song and video. I can’t believe I didn’t know of this earlier.
The videos with this actress Vari Ferguson are the best short films, she made another music video for the singer Boy Harsher whose song is called "Fate" very good
Beautiful music
This reminds me of the music of the 80's!
Лучшее, что есть в музыке - это Ледитрон
Love u Ladytron! I've showed the video tp my daughter and niece, and they loved it as well ... we've all screamed at the end... awwwww
You know what, these days when every other fucking indie electronic music producer tag "cyberpunk" on their not-so-sincere and rushed synth music works, Ladytron quietly presented us a real piece of brilliant Cyberpunk work. Respect.
I thought this had more of a synthwave feel to it rather than cyberpunk. "Deadzone" definitely has a cyberpunk quality to it.
You nailed it...cyberpunk...Akira brade runner
By the gods of Olympus! they keep the mysterious, fun, great style, I love them from the first time I heard them in the SIMS game, then in NEED FOR SPEED CARBON, they gave me back something that I thought was lost.
❤❤❤❤
I'm so excited to see them live finally this year 🙌🙌🙌🙌!!
Great song! Great film! Great Album! Congrats from Brazil!!
Perfect..............................................!

Nope, plenty of good quality 'happy' music out there. This is a good pop tune, and it makes me happy.

omg I cried
Magical sound!
KOOL
This video is just AMAZING.
Awesome Ladytron, pure class! Greetings from Brazil
Didn't expect Synthwave from Ladytron, Love it!
Ladytron was synthwave before we knew synthwave was synthwave
I knew this song reminded me random Netflix series!
What is it?
Pedazo de banda !!
Me encantan!!
Tellement sous-côtés !! Un groupe mythique, inventif et talentueux
Thank's for your like and music. Best wishes from France.
5 times in a row, and that's not me usually. Perfect sounds combination
I love the visuals. I don't know much about indie music but the themes in the video are amazing!!
Amazing! makes me shiver ... thanks for the good music!
My 6yo daughter and I are mesmerized

Greatest band of all times!
Helen 🥰🥰🥰
Love thissss

When aliens come visit earth, this is what they should listen to.
hah )) yes
Damn, didn't expect this video to end in a sad note. Lovely song nonetheless.

Great!
:O amazing
Я чуть не заплакал в конце клипа
💛💙
One of the saddest stories I've ever seen . . . * cry * I demand a different ending!
This video reminds me of the adventure game Beneath a steel sky, for the rubber clone.
Super
❤
Qué buen sinth pop, impresionante video, MAGIC ☢️

Ladytron we love you. This iis how NWO looks like, we shall wake up!
👍🏼🖤😍❤️
Wish we awake from this
Being different is not allowed. There are savages in the world that will destroy originality. That was my takeaway from the music video.
Shades of Jonathan Glazer's Under The Skin..
Yep.
Definitely.

This sounds a lot like Iamamiwhoami's Fountain...
