Still baffled that Tuesday's VA is the same as Skirk from Genshin and Misha from Star Rail like😭
I loved every characters in this event, Argus is amazing, Tuesday is insane (I support women's rights and women's wrongs), Barbara is a cutie..... And the last plot twist with the mirror.. that was harsh💀

I totally agree that Tuesday being evil through and through as a character is an impressive direction that Bluepoch took. It's just way too common nowadays, in games and in other forms of media, where a character has to have a redemption arc or needs a tragic backstory to justify their evil nature. Heck, some even go the "what I'm doing might be evil, but I'm not really evil because I still have loved ones and I can be soft" route, which kind of ruins characters for me. Tuesday though? She's unapologetically neutral evil and I love that for her. She's even the first real unsympathetic evil playable character, if I'm not mistaken. Even units like Pavia have an excuse for being a sociopath. She doesn't! She relishes the terrible shit that happens for the lulz, and it's impressive that even for her being "traditionally unlikeable" or being so far different from the usual pullable characters, she still appealed enough for people to get her.
[EDIT] Also, I love how Age went from "I just love it when characters see through imitations because they care too much about the real person" in Node 12, to "oh shit that did not just happen 👁👄👁" in Node 20 when the heavy implication sets in. One of the things I also love about this is that Tuesday probably knew that Argus killed the real Kayla (if this is true), which adds another layer of malice when she was goading Argus about being too candy-dependent and overconfident while being a blind fool, as well as showing Argus "Kayla" being shot and the mirror appearing in her nightmare sequence. Gotta love Reverse, amirite?

they're so good at constantly subverting our expectations T.T and it's honestly what makes me respect the writers so much, the fact that they're willing to go super far just to write interesting characters and stories without fitting into a typical mold!!

[ Spoiler alert for the event and chapter 7 ]
My theory is that Manus were experimenting on the motel to try and find the ritual to resurrect Arcana. Maybe that's what they were doing in san Francisco too back in 2.0.

It is heavily implied that's what was going on in San Fran, but a bit unclear in Texas.
My theory is that the rituals took place at the same time, but they failed bc of J's interruption. Maybe they were using the mirror as a door like in San Fran

    *SPOILER FOR THE STORY*

It's highly possible that Kayla wasn't in the Order of Enlightenment. Her dialogue in the story may have indicated that, but it's already been revealed at the end of the story that that wasn't the real Kayla but Ms. Grace, who is a member of Manus Vindictae - the same person who was with Forget Me Not at the end of Floor It. Barbara also said that Kayla didn't check out, which could imply that she's still somewhere inside the motel; though Ms. Grace, possessing the body of Kayla or at least assuming an appearance absurdly similar to hers, had the perfect excuse of being "at the market" around the time Argus started investigating the place. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but there are just so many things that point to the possibility that it was the real Kayla in the mirror and not just some random guest from the cult.
EDIT: Actually, now that I've had more time to think about it, Kayla COULD have already been in the cult considering majority of the motel's guests' demographic are the cultists according to Tuesday. But as of the moment there's no solid proof that she actually joined them. Maybe Argus's anecdote will shed more light on that.
