When I moved to Florida from NYC I couldn't believe the slow pace. I was exhausted for almost six months recovering from the high stress of the city. Years later I am still too high strung for most Floridians.
Literally one of the only TH-camr I can watch 30+ minute vlog and be interested throughout the whole thing. I love you so much girl! So happy for you and your journey!🥰
I realize that we only see small glimpses of your time in these different locations, but as an outsider looking in you both seemed happiest in Nashville. I grew up in south Florida . My family moved from the New York suburbs to Ft. Lauderdale when I was 11. I left Florida at 28 with my husband and son and don’t miss it one bit.
I grew up in North Carolina and moved to Miami as an adult for a few years (my husband is from Miami) it was a hard transition… lol. But I did grow to like it, it has its perks. We are back in NC now and We still debate moving back. One of my close friends is from Tampa and she feels the same way… she would never move back.
I love seeing outfits that don’t work out. It makes me feel sooo much better when I go to the fitting room and find major fails! Me and my bf are also looking into relocating and have been considering all the places you are staying! Love following along with the journey

Floridian here! Clancy if you want City you should head to Miami for your next month. You’ll get the clear water beaches, continue with the warm weather during the winter and you’ll get the hustle you’re looking for
Clancy, I feel like you’d love San Diego! There’s a perfect mix of beach life, cute neighborhoods, and city life! There’s so much going on here and you can easily get to different parts of San Diego within 15 minutes. Think LA but with no traffic 😂

I live in southeast Florida and there is ALWAYS something to do, which my family and I appreciate. We grew up in SC and while we love it there-we found ourselves very limited by activities, food, restaurants, church’s, and family friendly outdoor amenities. It’s all perspective and what your looking to get out of life- decide that and you’ll find your place. And then maybe after a couple years you’ll change and want other things. I find decisions are easier to make when you aren’t trying to find a “ forever home” maybe just a 3-5 year home. Good luck!
I used to get up three hours before work (I work at 9) to walk the dog and feel more productive, but now that I’m pregnant (14 weeks🤗) and I’m battling insomnia and nausea I’ve had to prioritize sleep and relying more on my husband in the mornings. PS: I love your travel vlogs. I’ve been in bed a lot the past few weeks, and your videos are my go to
Clancy .. followed you for many years .. totally relate to your video - a couple of observations .. 1) It is so easy to feel like OMG I am not old I should not relate to what feels like old people lifestyle and fear that I am not old 2) I need to feel alive and motivated - this is not that 3) is life too good here - I will probably not be as productive here - These are all valid - you for sure want to feel relevant to your subscribers and, also as you have state in several videos, that humidity is killer even this time of year -- Zak is right - for most people and i believe you guys as a young couple for going out. I think your idea fo checking out new places to live is so spot on to so many couples and married partners looking for the idea combination for xgen looking for a great lifestyle and family friendly place to live. There are more fast-paced, younger crowd areas too where you still get the beach town vibes here! Maybe visit Boca or Delray?! West palm beach is nice too.
Hi Clancy. Grocery shopping tip, when you are in different towns load the store’s app for coupons and deals. Most places have a Walmart and their groceries are good and I’ve had good luck with the store brand, Great Value. I have tons of pink too.💯

To take a step back from daily life and the “desk jobs” and take a breather and enjoy the fresh air and to enjoy the little things because I felt people were taking life too seriously and not stopping to smell the roses.

I know it’s a bit of a hike for you but the closest Whole Foods is in Clearwater if you haven’t checked there yet for your sweet potatoes! Sprouts might be a good place to check if you haven’t already! Living here is truly like nothing else and I love seeing it through you. Since I’ve lived here my whole life I definitely don’t take advantage of the little luxuries we have (like living less than 10 minutes from the beach) and the slow way of life. To locals, we may not realize how slow it is when you’re working regular business hours every day. You should try to go to the Tarpon springs sponge docks while you’re here if you get a chance!!
I love seeing you enjoy my home! Pass-a-grille is such a gem and honestly our area is filled with the most beautiful beaches. Anna Maria and Siesta Key is also great if you want to make a drive a bit south.
I have a friend who grew up in New York and moved to south Louisiana (where I’m from/still living) when she was like 8. Still to this day she wishes she could move back to the city!! She misses the hustle and bustle. Me on the other hand, I could never see myself living in that chaos! I LOVE laid back, minimal traffic, clean air, hot weather, etc! But I do have to agree with you, it’d be nice to be able to walk everywhere. Keeps you fit too
I go to Florida beaches regularly for little getaways cause I’m in Georgia and it’s convenient. But I feel you! It’s amazing but after a week or two… the laid back and relaxed lifestyle starts to mess with my head 😂 like it feels wrong in a way

You would LOVE hyde park village in Tampa - close to downtown but a cute walkable, shoppable area. Also the coffee shop/restaurant Oxford Exchange in Tampa is a favorite for content creators and a super cool place to have a coffee and read or work!
Slow living is so sweet. I'm retired after working my whole life and now it just feels like I can go "Aaaahhh" and totally relax. It's soooo good - I had my share of night life and crowds and noise... I look back and I think, ''Why?" This is where it's at. :-)
I personally think you should try another month in Florida but somewhere else. I could picture you and Zac in a gated community near a city or tourist area (where you have all the amenities of apartment living with a single family house. )To be honest I go I’m August when it’s 110 and it’s not that bad!

Rookie mistake the spray sun screen lol my moms a derm she said that stuff will get you burned in no time the spray loses most of the sunscreen before it gets on your skin. I’m from the north lived in Carolina’s and tampa and nothing beats Florida. Come over to tampa and run the river walk by bay shore Blvd it’s pretty. And those no income tax it’s pretty nice for self employment. Summers are hott but do able fr and that slow way of life is not how tampa is haha after DT tampa come over to carrolwood and north Dale mabry the international mall it’s all insane ❤
Most sunscreens are horrible, full of chemicals and make you age worse than if you just wore nothing lol. Very few good ones, but I stick with ThinkBaby 😊
Those items are expensive everywhere. The inflation is ridiculous! I can’t imagine preferring a city to being by the water, however we are all different. I have lived in the city but never prefer it. Cute dress and I love your hair straight!
I would definitely suggest going somewhere more southeast if you guys do decide to stay in Florida. I recommend West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, or Miami(in order from least busy to busiest). There’s a lot to do in those areas and it’s a more “age-appropriate” crowd lol. Maybe you guys can drive down there one day and see how things are. Don’t give up on Florida just yet! You guys have both been glowing since you’ve been there. There’s a city that’ll be the perfect combination of busyness and paradise lol. Love your videos! Keep up the great work😊
i lived in florida for 4 yrs and Michigan for most of my life. It's definitely opposite seasons. Summer is unbearable in Florida. But winter is amazing!! I get snowbirds now. best of both, just going back and forth.
If you end up checking out Tampa the Wharfside or the wharf is a bunch of small outdoor restaurant and breweries also fun for lightning games. And then armature works is on the water and also a bunch of small restaurants in one place and has a great walking path around the water and into the city

Every time I get groceries it's $50-60 and I feel like it's always just one bags worth of things 😭 but I consume dairy and I think those things tend to add up quick! I'm a baker I love butter hahaha

Also, FL girl here. Publix is one of the priciest unless you shop by sales. WinnDixie. Aldi. Trader Joe’s. Are cheaper options.

Actually the temperatures in the middle of the summer never really get above 95 in the Tampa area, but with the high humidity it feels like 110!😅

Most sunscreens are horrible, full of chemicals and make you age worse than if you just wore nothing lol. Very few good ones, but I stick with ThinkBaby 😊

I would definitely suggest going somewhere more southeast if you guys do decide to stay in Florida. I recommend West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, or Miami(in order from least busy to busiest). There’s a lot to do in those areas and it’s a more “age-appropriate” crowd lol. Maybe you guys can drive down there one day and see how things are. Don’t give up on Florida just yet! You guys have both been glowing since you’ve been there. There’s a city that’ll be the perfect combination of busyness and paradise lol. Love your videos! Keep up the great work😊

i lived in florida for 4 yrs and Michigan for most of my life. It's definitely opposite seasons. Summer is unbearable in Florida. But winter is amazing!! I get snowbirds now. best of both, just going back and forth.

If you end up checking out Tampa the Wharfside or the wharf is a bunch of small outdoor restaurant and breweries also fun for lightning games. And then armature works is on the water and also a bunch of small restaurants in one place and has a great walking path around the water and into the city

Also, FL girl here. Publix is one of the priciest unless you shop by sales. WinnDixie. Aldi. Trader Joe’s. Are cheaper options.
