to be fair to the inspector who spoke to you for the most part he wasn't being a dick about it he didn't seem to care as he said himself its clearly the other inspector who wasn't there who has a problem and isn't brave enough to talk to you about it
Yup very much the point if the inspector with the issue had came over and asked the questions it would of been a different story. I could see the inspector that asked the questions more then likely believed me over his colleague. Just ashame that his colleague with the problem didn't come forward. Overall I kept my nose clean and never had many interaction with the inspectors

I was when I pulled in. But they didn't help the matter by pulling me on something stupid when they would of known who was driving the bus so could of questioned it later

Really wound me up has this - disgusting the way they spoke to you there mate I'm glad the company I work for doesn't have people like this on your back all the time. I'd be reporting him for poor conduct - who does he think he is? He spoke to you worse than a passenger would. You don't go to work to get spoken to like that. Chin up mate
It's something you get use to and take no notice of them basically coz that night the named people was working and they had my back and nothing ever came of the chat they had with me

@@stevecampbell7589 I agree they was doing there job. However the inspectors knew the situation and was aware of what was going on as you can clearly hear. From this nothing ever came about because they was talking utter rubbish and they knew it. The part that got me was the inspector doing the questioning didn't have an issue in his words it was a colleague. If his colleague whom also was an inspector had a question or issue then He should of questioned it not got someone else to do the work for him. When I was at stagecoach everything I filmed was above board and the ops manager notified the inspectors so situations like this didn't happen.
@Mancbuses are you not at stagecoach now? I can't imagine going back on the buses. I drive a wagon all over the country camping out. It has its drawbacks, but still better than picking up people. I hardly speak to anyone in my working week. Which suits me.
I spent a night in Manchester last night. Outside the Costco Petrol station at the Trafford Centre opposite the bus layby and had my first Tim Hortons burger. I'm up near Glasgow now in Rothwell Services
@@stevecampbell7589 hi nope not at stagecoach anymore none of the team work there now we have all moved on from there. And sounds fun I would like to do that once my children are a little older
I was with stagecoach 😫 for 12 years, and inspectors are supposed to be there to help you not have bets on to see which one of them is the first to book a driver or conductor and they also lie and ignore you when you want an answer to a question....ignorant people.....

Funny how inspectors used to in my GM buses days and still do,go around in pairs.Are they scared on their own!!??

Wow that one inspector certainly has a chip on his shoulder! I don’t know what it is with inspectors they all seem to have attitude *some* of the NX West Midlands inspectors here in Birmingham are the same

to be fair this was the first time they had confronted me but there would and were many reports made by them according to my ops manager which he just filed in the bin as there was permission but some of them knew better
Wow this is terrible. Ive seen loads of videos around inspectors / station security and the way they treat spotters. Put a uniform on them and they think they are something special. SameOldFitUp on TH-cam had a similar encounter at Asthon. Getting out of hand these jobs worths. Your camera was causing no issues just wanted some form arguement and to get their own way over nothing. This has really annoyed me but you handled it great. That is no way to treat a colleague and if that how he is to staff then theres not a chance he should be working with the public
Yes this was his colleague who didn't want to approach me believed I had been told to stop filming when it wasn't true I had came to an agreement with the ops manager and was allowed to continue under some terms and conditions. However the inspector clearly either never listened or was trying to cause issues. I never heard anything from his questions or report so I guess the ops manager had my back. But this did put me off as I just didn't want the hassle out on the road. So at the time what was a good thing and the ops manager loved the idea there was another set of management trying to sack me for it.
@@Mancbuses Such a shame from a management perspective. Why would they want to sack someone who is so keen and passionate about their job is the stupidest thing ever. You camera caused no problems to anyone viewing the content and I’m sure you were never told before hand not to do it otherwise you wouldn’t have done it. Seems like they are just making up rules as they go along and they need to make things more clear. Loved your content and as a bus enthusiast since being a kid finding your content has always been a blessing to me thanks mate.

Can anyone tell me what these inspectors do? I've only ever heard of ticket inspectors, but these guys seem to be inspecting the driver. 🤔
they do a different range of Jobs some days revenue inspecting (Tickets) but the main day to day is like blacky in on the buses they help run the buses out in the field making changes etc to help services run and to catch drivers out doing things they shouldn't be doing
For fricks sake - those inspectors are so mean and they probably get an ego buzz from doing that It's possible that the likes of the two Seans might not be route filming anymore for fear of the same happening to them. Sorry you're going through this Jordan, it's uncalled for and unnecessary to be honest.
This was old from boxing day a few years back but it's about the time I left and gave up filming routes coz the hassle

@@Mancbuses in Northern Ireland we have police officers that check the city Belfast and they go inside buses to check
someone trying to stitch you up, if the upper management know about it and given you an ok as aslong it its not attached to the windscreen it interfering with your driving and the performance of your duty, the inspector had no right in talking to you like that may i suggest you get the ok for a go pro in writing from upper management then you can show it and they will shut up, but the way he spoke to you was bang out of order
Hi pal it was well known etc they was just being a pain coz of another manager who didn't like the idea and didn't like the ops manager that gave me the permission lol. But left now so ... but yh that would of been an idea
Are most inspectors at Stagecoach like this, or is this a very small minority? Not really heard amazing things when it comes down to the working enviroment.
This was due to a certain inspector who didn't want to challenge me so got someone else to do. But yes they are always out to get you
I did a year at SC before having enough, luckily never had a run in with an inspector but its not worth it for the money lets put it that way!
