Floor Jansen is the Dutch frontwoman for the Finnish Symphonic Metal Band Nightwish. Their best live performance is the Wacken Open Air concert in 2013. I believe that was Floor's third appearance with the band. She was there on invitation from the band leader. The next day they asked Floor to join with them on permanent basis. Floor attended a Dutch opera school in her teens. She is 40 years old now.
Sorry Everett, but Floor took te stage with Nightwish in October 2012 on the American tour (at least 10 to 12 gigs) In 2013 they went to UK, Finland and did tour the European festivals of which Wacken was second to last one. Floor attended first class of the Rock Academy (equal to Conservatory level) at Tilburg, Netherlands. She is now 39 becomes 40 in 2021.
Floor joined Nightwish as a temporary replacement after the previous vocalist (Anette Olzon) had to leave the band in the middle of their world tour 2012. Together with Troy Donockley (the multi-instrumentalist) she became a full member of Nightwish after the World tour ended in 2013.

Floor didn't adapt the "original Heart 1987 Version" ( the original song is by I-Ten anyway back in 1983), but the "mellow" version of the acoustic live 2007 or the 2016 Royal Albert Hall Version. And if you compare with the 2016 - Ann still digs it, her grace by age, emotion and vocal grain is incomparable, but yes Floors version is excellent as well.

However, Heart's 1987 cover of this song is more widely known. For me both covers that Floor has now done, first with her former band After Forever in 2007 & now this 2020 version are much more emotional than any other covers of the original, that of Heart included. Floor's just the best there is. P.S. Floor's good friend Joost van den Broek played the grand piano this time, while he played the keyboards in the 2007 After Forever version. The video/audio quality is not that great since it was captured on a phone but you can still hear the awesome and stellar vocal quality of Asia's Phoenix, Morissette Amon. She sang a medley composed of bits and pieces of Heart's popular songs. It was truly wonderful and i wish there was a better quality video of it.
