Cards that are banished face-down cannot activate their “if this card is banished” effects and cannot be targeted for effects that target specific types of banished cards. (archetypes, monsters, spells, traps)
Also love all the new synchro stuff.

I know that they're not done yet, but i think that the Tistina cards will be really interesting to drop into other decks, and might become a cool deck of its own eventually.
TCG exclusive archetypes tend to be decent once they get their first wave of support.
I'm convinced, that the sleeved booster packs sold at Target and Walmart do not contain any 25th anniversary cards whatsoever in the past week I've probably open 200 packs. And not seen one. I did pull the synchron secret rare twice so that was pretty cool

Red Eyes Black Meteor Dragon is my favorite super for sure. Revolution Synchron is awesome too. Love the new Infernoble cards too
I love the illusionists, I want to pull a set of those. I like the newer archetypes that are trying to make the battle phase relevant again.
Also, for banishing face-down, those cards are considered private information so they do not have any properties (i.e. not considered a monster for example) so there are very few cards that can interact with them. It is more likely to be gone for good if you banish a card face-down
Seeing you unboxing / pulling for cards makes me continue to watch Yugioh Series I'm in 5ds already. Looking forward that someday I can have my own deck to play with.
My favorite card from this set is QCR Epurrely Noir and also the QCR Cystal God Tistina looks nice. I hope the next wave of support for tistina makes it an actual good set. I enjoy your vids!! Cant believe you did it!!

my favorite cards from this box are the long name magicians, the quasar dragon and also the nightmare Magician, that ilustration is awesome.
I’m most interested in the Magicians of bonds & unity card in this set. I love the DM deck and while I know this isn’t direct support, it definitely seems on theme. Great opening!
I love the quarter century’s since I’m an avid collector and love the shiny cardboard. My favourite is the Cosmic Quasar Dragon since it’s beautiful I. The quarter century variant

I like the new Visas Synchro. It searches everything anyone could want.
My favourite card of this is set is "Chimera The Illusion Beast" because of the artwork and I want to see "Fusion Armament" because it has a nice effect which can be used in creative strategies and also has old Yu-Gi-Oh! vibes
Sinful Spoil of Subversion - Snake-Eye... that is the one card I want most in the set. If I happened to get a Quarter Century Rare of it, I would be ECSTATIC

Chimeras, infernobles, rev synchron for adventurer synchron, everything looks fun as hell and seems kinda slept on
AN ENTIRE CASE!!!! Do enjoy this set more and more, I am really enjoying seeing all of the Illuision monsters. But really wanting that new Red-eyes card! Also the purpose of banishing facedown, means you can't get it back. Some decks allow you to return banished cards because you can target it, but you cant target face down cards.
Wow that Crimson dragon print looks insane, the yellow shine to it with the white makes it look amazing.

If your opponent banishes empen face down you can't add it back to hand with tucan or whatever the birds name is
Someone already mentioned the difference between face up and face down banish, but the other major difference between the two hole traps is that the new one is for monsters with LESS than 1500 atk and old was is for monsters with more than 1500 atk
I'm loving the new Visas/mannadium support in the new set am currently hyped to see how many I pull to complete the new interesting deck.
Cosmic Quasar is honestly one of the sickest cards to look at, if I had to only get one Quarter Century Secret Rare in the set, then I'd give it up to the Dragon
I really like the magician of faith retrain. Came out of nowhere and brought so much nostalgia.

So in the Duelist Nexus Introduction Video Jerome McHale from Konami said that for this set and the next 3 core boosters Magicians of Bonds and Unity will have different color backgrounds so for Duelist Nexus it’s Green, For Age of Overlord it’ll be Yellow, for Phantom Nightmare it’ll be Red and for the set after it it’ll be Orange.
My favorite card is Crystal god Tistina. The archetype seems fun and I like the artwork a lot.
The Illusionist cards are pretty cool as heck, really like those cards. I like all the retrains in general though, along with the Mikanko and Unchained support

I pulled 3 Epurrely Noir quarter century rares in 14 boxes, all spread out from different cases! I also just pulled the Revolution Synchron QCR last night and the secret rare in the very next pack! Lol
The crimson dragon is super cool and a proper release is nice to see! would really like that in 25th!

I opened 2 boxes hoping for QCr Crimson Dragon or Cosmic Quasar Dragon, didn't get either but I was still fortunate enough to pull QCr Chimera the King of Phantom Beasts 👑.
5ds era was jus so prime, synchron retrains jus warm my heart lol
For collection purposes, definitely Magicians of Bonds and Unity, though I am also excited for Revolution Synchron. Don't think there is many cards I would like from this set besides the 5Ds ones.

The crimson dragon q rare is the best.
The difference between face down banish and face up is that banish face down are private knowledge so your opponent can’t look at it and banish face up means your opponent can see it. Also before kashtira, it was pretty much just extra gone instead of banish being just gone lol

Definitely want to see you get the Crimson Dragon in QCR but the Magicians of Unity are also a good card to have in any collection as for my favorite card it's honestly the common Kuibelt the Blade Dragon as is a nice replacement for Chaos Ruler as it's banned in the TCG
Man...the last booster packs I bought were from Ancient Sanctuary, which means I missed like 18/19 years worth of cards...feels old man.
When I heard that its the 25th anniversary I had to join the ride. Like 2 days ago I saw they released the 25th anni legendary collection in like april, I still had to order 1 for me which will hopefully arrive in a couple of days.
Since I dont know much about the more recent sets, my favorite cards are goblin attack force from PSV and nightmare wheel from PGD. So much nostalgia.❤ happy birthday yugioh tcg
