Who'se watching in 2024 and having some tears because he is no longer here? Grateful his legacy is in good hands with Terri, Bindi and Robert. We will always remember him. Wildlife warrior.
Mourned him like he was my very own family member... Great resurrection on the cards matey... Will see him again... Beautiful peep.... His kids and wife must miss him so... He was larger than life....
2 years and 2 weeks later he dies. That feeling when you mourn someone you never met other than trough the tv... What he did for the reptiles and other not so commonly loved animals was more than anyone else. His true love and enthusiasm was contagious. He's still missed.
Yes. Not many people know was that Steve was just about to be honoured with a honouree doctorate from the QLD university . Not because of the usual "Hey lets give this celebrity a doctorate because he will bring us some publicity." But because he worked on and developed better ways to help track Crocodiles in the wild. He also brought massive tracks of untouched wilderness areas to preserve them from developers/ mining, through out Australia and Africa.
I thought what you posted, EXACTLY. WOW, you never know when GOD wants your SOUL. GOD got a great SOUL. Steve was all the positive adjectives. POLITE, EXCITING, HONOR, INTEGRITY, PASSION, ... Steve was another awesome messenger from GOD. BOTTOM LINE, Steve's better attribute: LOVE
I was crying and panicking when Steve died I was 9 years old when I heard from my dad Steve is such a warrior and my favorite heroes I watched as a child
In his trademark khaki uniform, rambunctious smile and that wonderful charisma, I miss Steve terribly. This world needs more people with such passion for life, love for living animals and unrelenting curiosity for our natural world.
Let's be honest, he was too good for this world! We all got touched by an Angel ♥So glad he got to do this before he passed. How honoured are we, that regardless where we lived, he somehow found us and changed our lives for the better 😍😘 What a star🤩
Love Steve Irwin......so kind, adventurous, loving and caring. He was definitely a family man who idolized his wife and kids. I can't think of anyone who has more enthusiasm for what he believes in. When he died, I felt I had lost my best friend. Now that Bindi is grown up, she continues to promote her daddy and his ambitions. Miss you, Steve.
I miss Steve so badly. He is my biggest role model since I was little. He is the reason I am now getting my degree in zoology and following my passion for conversation and working with animals. Thank you Steve for everything you’ve done. You will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace to a beautiful pure soul and that was taken away from us way too fast. Love you Steve. Rest In Peace. ❤️
Hearing Bindi say.."When I grow up..I'm gonna be just like my Daddy", just made me cry..but she is..just like her Dad. We miss you, Steve..Watch over them & make us all better "wildlife warriors" !!
I was brought to tears seeing Steve and Terry with their kids. He missed watching his kids grow up. He seemed like such a great guy and he was a great dad. His death was a terrible tragedy. It's hard to believe he has been gone for twelve years.
I`m his biggest fan since childhood and my dream is to visit Australia Zoo. He`s the reason why I`m now studying biology. I want to learn so much about animals and conservation and join Wildlife Warriors to help and protect our animals. Steve, RIP, you will always be missed my hero :)
Steve himself was not an educated man, he came from a line of croc "relocators", which were and still are an unfortunate necessity where crocs can come into contact with people, pets and livestock. But I thnk Steve would be tickled that many people like you have pursued higher education in such fields because of the connection he was able to make especially to children around the world.
When you watch this you realise the man did really well to live as long as he did when hearing all the stories! We were all blessed to experience him! 🙂👍
He was and is still a true Aussie Legend and what he has done for Conservation and bringing tourist by the Plane load from all corners of the World,He had the Following of People like Sir David Attenborough. When he passed away the world did truly mourn his loss from people like the current Prince of Wales William,Dr David Suzuki, the US Military,Thai Mountain People, and everyday people from all walks of Life. Nearly 18 years he still is larger than life and his wife and Kids are a testament to him. Iam glad I watched this RIP the Great Steve Irwin you truly are missed.
with his sudden passing this program was supposed to be made then Fate wanted him to be remembered for him self and his love for his family and all the animals in the world He is a legend and still very much missed and loved by all
Steve you are a legend - Terri and your beautiful children ( like the public) are so very proud of you - you left us too soon steve - you will always be loved and never forgotton- now we watch terri , bindi and Robert grow up in memory of you 💖💖💖
Oh that was awesome! I miss him so much! I choked up when I saw Steve tearing up talking about his mom. That's a hard one, losing a parent very suddenly. Bindi & Steve together what a great pic for her to remember him. Terri, Robert, & Bindi have these videos and pics of their Dad & husband, which is awesome for them. How many of us can say we have home videos of our families? I really love watching Steve Irwin in his shows & videos. If you're having a bad day watch his show & it will cheer you up. I loved this show about his life. Thank you for sharing!!
I am so honored to be able to copy this show and see all the wonderful people and hear the early stories about my forever hero, Steve, whom we share the same birthday! Happy Birthday in heaven, Steve.
I grew up with Marlon Perkins as a child and jack Hanna and when I came across Steve Irwin I was skeptical but soon realized how knowledgeable and simply passionate he was about animals. I was hooked because his passion was infectious and I will always be grateful I was fortunate to watch and learn so much about animal conservation and protection of animals. Steve your passion for animals will live forever. Thank you Steve and all those involved with The Australia zoo, from a fan in St. Louis, Missouri🐘🐆🐑🐃 thanks Terri, Bindi and Bob for keeping his legacy alive
Thank you for posting this. This was certainly bittersweet to watch, but his spirit lives on through his wife, children, and all the people's lives he continues to touch, to this very day!
It's September 2018 & you're right his spirit does live on to this day! He was awesome! I have been binge watching all of his videos & it's amazing how much passion he had for life!
Steve gave the best bear hugs. He was a genuinely warm and caring person. On Enough Rope he told Andrew of his 'other side'. He battled chronic depression. Life wasn't easy for him. His devotion to animals helped him cope. Still greatly missed and loved forever 💔
Such a strong wonderful man! Never afraid of the opposition! He was fighting a righteous cause. So proud of his wife and children taking up the gauntlet! 💖
Tragic that he was killed by one the very creatures that he strived to protect . Somebody who appeared to love every minute of his life. Feel sorry for his wife and kids . RIP
Andrew Skinner that was a lie given to the public. The stingray didn’t lose it’s barb. Either way a 8 foot ray would have destroyed his heart regardless. His cameraman released exactly what happened
Steve Irwin loved animals and always respected them like we all should do, I so much enjoyed watching this show, Steve Irwin thank you and may your soul Rest In Peace.
I remember watching this when it came out and I thought it was great but know watching I see how bad the videos where back then. rest in peace steve. you were great
You know someone made a huge impression in the world when you were hardly aware of him... then he dies and you are crushed... I honor not only Steve Irwin and his family but also all of you who were fans before this incredible tragedy happened. I didn't learn a lot about Steve until after he passed and I greatly feel the loss that the world has endured.
What a terrible loss to wildlife and humanity. This world could do with more like him not one less. It isn't often I get emotional watching a youtube clip but I did watching this one, Thank goodness Terri, Bindi and Robert are continuing his work. Steve would be so proud of the three of them.
This was such a great video to watch and learn about the legend of Steve Irwin. Can’t believe he’s been gone for 12 years now, he’s still missed and admired by millions all over the world and I hope that never changes.

Lovely lady, great mom and wife to this great man... You are loved... That birth of Bindi... Admiration overload... Bindi is as cute as she said she'd be... Beautiful family...
Such a wonderful family. You can see in his eyes that he is dreaming of the future with them. Truly awful that he was taken away such a short period afterwards. The first person I was truly upset about their death when I was younger. A genuine hero of mine.
ABSOLUTE HONOR AND RESPECT FOR THIS ENTIRE FAMILY. Look at their history. Steve's Great Grandfather / Grandfather both killed in WW2. Terri's Father served on USS Idaho WW2 defending Australia - then let's get to the MAN, STEVE. Steve you can only describe with POSITIVE ATTRIBUTES. Honor, Respect, Integrity and most of all ---> LOVE. Steve LOVED everything on this great planet, not just ANIMALS but PEOPLE. His immediate family will carry on the tradition. GOD HAS BLESSED YOU STEVE ROBERT IRWIN, I know you are with GOD right now, with your FAMILIES of the past. Bobby

2 years and 2 weeks later he dies. That feeling when you mourn someone you never met other than trough the tv... What he did for the reptiles and other not so commonly loved animals was more than anyone else. His true love and enthusiasm was contagious. He's still missed.
