That's kinda unbelievable how one Man who people never knew personally could affect everyone around the world so much with his passing. People around the World cried when he died and that just tells how loved he was and what a great person he was.
    Rest in Peace, Steve.

I grew up watching Crocodile Hunter everyday when I was a kid. When my parents told me an afternoon that he died during one of his last adventure I was speechless and extremely sad. Thank you very much for doing this documentary about the legendary Steve Irwin and I'm very happy to follow this channel. I've discovered the channel thanks to the News in Depth about the legacy of Chernobyl (the 4th September already a year has passed and Linton Bessel has done a very good reportage) and the only regret I have discovered it late. Greetings from Italy !

Steve was a one of a kind, an amazing man in every way, and so many of us miss him beyond words. Bindi is a very special and beautiful young lady and a true inspiration. Bob is awesome and Terry is an amazing, and strong woman as well. What a lovely family. God bless them..🙏

America LOVED Steve Irwin. And an entire generation of American kids and teenagers grew up watching him on TV and learning about wildlife, Australia, all of it. Americans have a strong bond with Australians. I think most of us consider Australians to be our brothers and sisters with cooler accents. Lol. The bond between Americans and Australians goes back through two World Wars, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. I’d argue it’s a closer bond than the one we have with Canada, in a lot of ways. The Irwin family is beloved beyond belief here in the States.

I'm sure he is so proud! To see his wife and kids grow up and think about how they lost such a tremendous enthusiastic and wonderful father just hurts me so much. Best of luck to Terry Bindy and Bob and Bindy's new kid. Steve, thank you for all that you have done and the inspiration that you have given so many and to his family for continuing on in is legacy and being amazing humans. Rip, so many years later. I was on the way to my wedding dress fitting and my twin sister stopped. She said “I don’t want you to hear this from anyone else” and then I cried and cried we were late.
I love him and always will.
May God be with his family and his memory be a blessing.
There aren’t really words. He is a global treasure and so is his magnificent family.
I live in NY. Grew up in CT. He belonged to the world. All the animals.
I have to stop writing. I know they don’t know me. But they are my family.
He burned so brightly. His son is the spit of him✨

I always loved animals and I loved watching crocodile hunter. I was in 3rd grade when Steve died. My parents heard it on the evening news the day that he died and told me before school the next day because they didn’t want me to find out from other students. A lot of my classmates were heartbroken. It was like we all lost an uncle and we never even met him. I can’t imagine the loss his friends and family felt.
A few weeks later, we had to do a presentation about our hero and a girl in my class chose Steve and cried the entire time she did her presentation over him. He touched so many lives and I hope I can do the same in my time.
Also want to add, that now I have a daughter who loves the wiggles and her favorite episode is the wiggly safari episode with Steve Irwin!

If there was the ability to to change something from the past. it would'nt to be kill Hitler, but to save Steve. Always A Hero Stevey. It's still fun to watch your stuff when you were kicking, and I'm still laughing at your jokes. Never be another like you.
The aftermarth though. Bindi didnt really go anywhere, She just had a kid, and Terry kicked out Rob. So these dreams and hopes didnt come True. But lets hope young Robert can ster up the world like his father did.

Its hard to think back then, that a fella sooo full of life, was just gone. Now laying in a box, pale and still. where in the back of your mind you can see him talking your ear off and tell us all about these animals.... but then you remember, Hes gone. Its really weird and sad, Now days you dont see that. But when you watch these vids of Bindi being so small. you can feel it again.

This man really gave a lot of meaning to My Life as a child got me through some of the toughest times in my life and I never in my wildest dreams thought it would be a stingray that took him out as a kid me and my best friend used to always say it'll be a snake crocodile or a Scorpion that would take him out and it was a shocking day when he died he taught me so much as a child and set me on the course to become what I wanted to be which was to work with snakes and venom

So sad. Great guy who’s missed by many, but not shocking with risks he took with wild animals. 💔rip

Bindi was a little pro since she was a whipper snapper! A ‘natural’ raised by her amazing father for a few years and her mother.

I was 15 years old when Stephen passed away and also as my mom and I watched the funeral for Steve Irwin my mom tears to me she says this is the anniversary of your grandpa's death which was my mom's dad and it was a school day that day so I had to go to school that day but when she told me that I said I don't want to go to school today for me it was kind of like 9/11 all over again because I did not want to go to school that day either my grandfather my my mom's dad he died on September 4th but I don't remember the year cuz I never met my mom's dad I just find that really eerie when she said that to me I got chills back back on September 4th 2006
