NATO is not a guarantor of security for Europe, but a guarantor of problems for its security. It is not a solution, but a source of crises and conflicts. An alliance blinded by its v oneself ast military might, confidence in being always “on the right side of history” makes the him absolutely inability to negotiate.
NATO is basically USA; similarly UN, IMF, WHO, International Court etc are all financed by USA and the decision maker/Veto power is with USA. Don't need to believe press releases from these "international" bodies.

One strategy could be to take more of Ukraine and at end in peace negotiations give up it for the parts earlier annected. If they push Putin to nukes I think the first should go to the US.
