Can we just talk about how Batman never has a ready stance when combat encounters start? It really just goes to show how confident he is in his abilities.
Displays how refined he his not over exerting himself more cool calm and collect in origins we have an angrier batman we need the court of owls to push him I feel like we haven't seen a fraction of his skill even the ninja are no match for him in the arkham games the martial artists in origin were amazing and the league of assassins in the dlc.
@@baki484 orgins he has bulky armor and with the suit he uses in cold cold heart. In the later years he sheds his armor as he gets more confident in his ability as he loses his fighting stance and he remains more cooler under pressure and threatening tactics. Batman should be confident especially after that fight with deathstroke and bane
@@baki484 batman overall glows of confident not cocky or over confident. Thats what i love about him. He never doubts his opponents but understands hes definitely gonna kick their ass.

Maybe you haven't free roamed much , and it is not a common animation but is not super rare neither, just get the counter when you're near an enemy and move Batman in the opposite direction he's in, he will eventually make that animation.

Batman has multiple martial arts styles plus the league of assassins training and extreme knowledge of pressure points and obsurd will power and precision and speed to name just a few on the wiki his skill list might aswell be as big as the Bible

BTW, I noticed that the camera doesn't zoom in when you used the special combo batclaw during the final Riddler fight. How did you do this? The camera often disorientates me and ruins my combo.
Glitcher2000 Camera angles. I don't know the specifics, but it seems like if you do the Batclaw from a certain point of view, you won't zoom in. It's weird.
Odd. BTW, it seems to be impossible to get a Perfect Freeflow bonus if use use gadgets while gliding before starting a fight. I think maybe this only applies to the Batarang, since it's the only gadget that increases your combo count. Has this ever happened to you?
Glitcher2000 Not really. I find that using gadgets while gliding is pretty advantageous. Especially if you freeze especially dangerous threats, knock, some to the floor, then immediately get into a strong start with a Batclaw slam.

There are so many varieties to choose from, yet, people forget to explore them, I barely see many of them and I'm kind of sad knowing that, there is a mechanic where you can pick up an enemy and yet it's not used
Yea. I see your point. I didn't even know about the pick up mechanic until I saw these, I looked it up, and I tried it. I also never saw this thing the player in this video does where he throws the batarangs from close range and they explode into a puff of black smoke, like a distraction. I dont even know how to get that. And also I learned that after you grapple them, you dont have to do that elbow slam, but you can pull them up into the air and slam down on them. Tons of new stuff for me.
The closest to seeing Batman fight like this in film was Batfleck. Sure, he didn’t jump a lot but he did beat a lot of asses in that warehouse. Wish we saw Bats fight like this more in film
yea. That scene was nuts. Super fun, and I agree, he's never been portrayed in films the way he fights in the comics or animated shows. Ben Affleck's batman is a bit underrated.
My way of fighting in Arkham Knight evolved a lot as I played, this is my first Arkham game too sadly but I'm so far into Arkham knight that I'm not gonna bother at this point Early game: I just avoided confrontation entirely and relied on predator Early-mid: started to get into it, "what the fuck is free flow", counter spam Mid: bat claw special bat claw special bat claw special bat claw special Mid-late: free flow became second nature now at the cost of losing all sense on what countering is Late game: *I'm already 4 parallel universes ahead of you*
I don't really like Big Head Mode personally, as I think it looks ridiculous. But the more costumes things is fair. Just didn't feel like going into the menu to change costumes too often.
One tip though, when handling those stun batons, use your electric gun and shoot the guy with the stun baton to create a force between the stun baton and you're enemy will start flying, trust some science theories works I this game and I've tried many of them.
If you tag the Stun Batons with the Disruptor, they're sabotaged. Which allows you to regularly counter them like it's a pipe or bat. Requires an upgrade, tho. I did it before the fight started.
If the Batmobile ruined entire experience with Arkham knight I really hope you didn’t pay full price. Because you clearly wanted to play Arkham city again. Because the combat is in Arkham knight is incredible
L2 + circle to an electrical shoot is the fastest way or when you get the combo press square + triangle to disactivate that weapon ,doing this the stick wont be able to be used anymore
Not bad but it's still not on that fast pace gameplay when I look at it, when you're gameplay is fast the camera can barely keep up with you because you're moving too fast.

It's not a takedown is just a situational counter, depends on what you're next to, you probably saw it and forgot it.

Guys play at 49:19 and then skip ahead 10 sec a couple of times you won't regret.

Those are the special combo batarangs. They're an upgrade you can get from just upgrading regularly.
