Oh yeah much simpler than I thought too! Yeah he let me drive it once, much different experience than my mustang I was not afraid to go around the corners anymore 😂
If anybody new is watching this vid and is gonna do this job, make sure you jack all 4 tires for a trans fluid change cause when you fill it, it's gotta be level to make sure you drain it all out and get the correct level for filling.
Very nice and explanatory video. Thank you for that. Is there any problems when having the car on rear ramps only ?? and the alum. pan is it safe to remove at this angle?? Thank you for your attention. Chris
@@carsandhobbies it helped me because i couldn't find the hole because i kept looking were you found your hole! hahaha i have a boxster S manual. i literally just finished the job. thanks for posting.
This more like changing fluid in GEAR BOX ! Not transmission!

Always crack the fill hole first so you know you can fill it 👍🏻👍🏻
You're right!
Is this manual or automatic?
@@986m manual
Is there any problems cause you use car ramps and not lifting on jacks stands????
Nope! Was still able to drain 99.9% of it

Yeah we only had the rears on the ramps he's driven it thousands of miles after the change with zero problems.
The picture you put it from a Boxster s which the fill plug is in different location.
Oh ok thank you for picking that up, on this car the plug was on the driverside of the transmission
