Zbrush was a good company...but i find it pure gluttony that you cannot purchase zbrush full price. I dont like that you are forced to use it as a subscription. Sopd to the devil maxon.
@@TheRabidRabbit1 yeah you can buy sure! But small text under says you will not get future updates. So... if i will buy this perpetual license now, i will not get zbrush 2024 lol... what a scam for 900$
@@Krigsgaldr Yes, that's right, they should contain updates for at least 3 years. Still, I think it's cool that they offer an annual license. And if you are a student you can get it for just €9 (should be around $10) per 6 months or the light version. I mean, if you make money with 3D programs, most of them are very expensive, so 450+ per year should be in your budget in my opinion.
the armour could use more work from a practical standpoint. The rogue's vambraces would be digging into her elbow pit which would hurt, and they look oddly modern. You guys don't use IRL references for armour when sculpting? I thought the old school modelers were all about refs.
Reconsider supporting perpetual license holders. Will never subscribe for zbrush, and I will not buy a perpetual license unless it gets updates, or a possibility to upgrade the license for a more reasonable price.
Honestly i didnt like Mephisto wolf model when i saw it for first time. For me its just common wolf with fur and half of skull, which silouhette and forms express nothing, too anatomically, no artistic vision applied at all. But meybe it is problem of concept not modeler
AI era is coming. Ai will be using machine learning to generate creatures in films and games. They will be director, producer , artist ,and story teller sadly. Only programmers will survive.
@@M_k-zi3tn I was like you one year ago. How can Ai replace 3D Artist? Then I changed my mind after witnessing the speed of advancement. Picture is made of pixels. wasn't diablo 4 a flop? >_> edit: apologies, it was just a question for i have not played the game and have so far only heard negative things about it. no clue how this question was me saying the artists suck, these people work on triple A games, the developers who do are likely levels above majority of the people who watched this video :D
The gameplay was definitely subpar and the monetization is heavy, but the art and sound departments are pretty much the only ones unaffected by all the greed. Still looks great and is worth learning from
I mean, from the artistic standpoint it was beautiful. But in terms of gameplay and story it wasn't on par with the last entries, even path of exile, which is an indie diablo, just spins circles around diablo iv
Too much time wasted which led the last guy with too little time (last person always gets screwed) but his presentation was in depth and i really wanted to see more of his work.
diablo 4 artists you did amazing job, so inspiring to see all the armor and weapons and environments also nice too
Flakes Brush- this is an incredible hidden diamond, thank you!

Who will give you this technology forever? Decades of research in computer science and mathematics went into it. There is no free lunch.

It sold millions of copies. How was it a flop?
Weird comment. Also even if it was, it doesn't make the art and art pipelines less awesome
