Hugh's words about Taron are not only so true, but so kind and just. I love the two of them. Taron and Hugh are what acting is all about. It's not about the spotlight, it's about owning your own abilities but being humble whenever possible. I love it. I love them.
Just watched the movie. Brilliant. I almost shed a tear too. Seems a shame that the Olympic committee have enacted an 'Eddie the Eagle rule'. If someone can really do it, and he proved he could, they should be allowed to compete if no one else is prepared too. We like the under dog and with the top end of sport being mired in drugs and doping it's good to see someone with real guts and drive be prepared to make a potential fool of themselves. Just like a lot of things in world the extreme has become all important instead of the spirit of life and especially the taking part and being a gracious loser. As soon as it was about money. Greed ruins everything...
These were both great in this one. Loved it. "Beware Mr Baker" is really, really, worth a watch too although 'Bronson Peary' is a bit more sane than the real life Ginger Baker!
I admire Hugh Jackman, but it is not true that ”people die in ski jumping every year”. In fact, there are no deaths recorded in ski jumping competitions. However, it is correct that numerous jumpers have suffered terrible falls leading to nasty injuries. But ski jumping has not killed anyone up to now, happily :)
Not true, ski jumping has killed a few people. However, it is a LOT less than Hugh Jackman said. It's in the same range as other risky outdoor sports. The main cause being broken necks unfortunately.

No need to basically body shame taron. You could literally see that made him self conscious but okay
taron egerton I’ve noticed he got questions like that in pretty much every Eddie the Eagle interview and it makes me sad :(
Taron :)

The interviewer was upset, because the movie gave Norwegian guys a dickhead reputation. Excuse me, but where is the lie about this?
