This show was one of my favorites. It wasn't fake or unrealistic. It had some bad characters, but the main characters were real and relatable. These two made it seem like you could actually have a future being yourself, and it kind of made everything okay. I still watch this show over and over again, and wish they had renewed it. I will always love this show.

If this was a "straight" drama casting 14 years old Peyton and a man on his 20's, we'd be "hold up, wait a minute. Something ain't right". And I think it's better for this cancel than to have a literal child be partnered with a grown adult.

Unfortunately not enough people were watching it when it came out. I blame Netflix for that as there wasn’t exactly a lot of advertising, like they do with most of their shows. Plus, the cast at the time wasn’t all well known compared to now. As an audience, we tried to get it more out there but of course, that wasn’t enough. Nearly 4 years later and I’m still salty about it.
