Watched a lot of video on the same mic and you have only covered all the points including the ports and connections with examples. Hats of bro ❤ I never knew that this had a lock button to lock the touch screen 😮
Yo, I’m not sure if you thought the locking mechanism was for the lav mic, but there isn’t one on this AM18, it’s a standard 3.5mm jack. The locking is for the deadcat only
@@Expvrcfevrbvecdfvrew check the bottom of all the devices. There are tiny blue plastic coverings over all the charging pins. You need to remove those.
@@SnowyDogColorado tysm, lmao i figured it out before i saw this but it helps alot still! ive watched so many tutorials and they always show it powering on from ^opening it for the first time^ had me stressing lmao, but fr your a lifesaver
Just purchased. Thanks for the video. My device came with the following firmware - RX: v0.2.4.12 & TX: v0.2.6.07 Any idea if these are the latest releases? Their website has TX v0.2.6_230913.fw and RX v0.2.4_230825.fw. Which is kind of cryptic for comparing.
What am i doing wrong, Ive plugged it into my canon EOS m50 mark 2 and unless i use back up recording it doesnt work directly with my camera. please help.
@@adrianvincentavhub hey man, can you check with you inserts the audio jack to the receiver unit and not the headphone jack? Also does your microphone jack works on your m50 before this?
The most comprehensive video about this mic. Thank you so much. I only have one question, how to transfer onboard recordings to a Windows PC?
@@FerdiCildiz hey Ferdi, thanks man appreciate it. You can get the files if you plug the Transmitter unit into your windows machine via usb c cable.

Underrated review. Nice work man! Gave some info I didn't find on any other review
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for stopping by
Most underrated ❤
I have a suggestion you can increase the overall sound for the video because sound feels less for me.
One question will the usb c work with usb c port phones like Samsung S23?
@@sherintalkz yes, it should be plug and play. At least I tested on the iPhone.
Which lav mic would you recommend? And can you use a lav mic with locking mechanism?
