I always used kudzu vines they dry purfectly and they are easy to work with because they are green. Only takes a bit to dry out but so worth using them. And it’s free.

Great job :) I leave the wreaths soaking over night and omg yea lots of mess. Lol i made a big BOO wreath last year for Halloween and ugh lots to clean up after.
i'm thinking you could add a burlap leaf and make one or two curly-cues out of jute (wrap jute twine around an object the width of a thick pencil and spray with hair spray or other spray that will retain the curly-cue shape) to add to the pumpkin stem where it emerges out of the pumpkin. :-)
