- Crafting a leather pouch for lead ball and percussion cap tins. The rounded bottom makes getting those last balls out easy. In reality, I just wanted to try out a new stamp and this was the perfect medium for it. I've attempted this "tufting" look before with varying degrees of success, but this makes it a breeze.
Inspirational project. I like it. I also like that stamp
That's a really neat project. Might have to try something like that soon. Just one thing I'd recommend based on my experience with wet molding for can shaped items. See if you like it. Cut a hole (finger sized and after its dried) in the side where the bottom of the can would sit. This allows you to use a finger to push the can up to grab it while still allowing the edges to come up past the halfway mark on the can to keep it locked in.
Very nice work. Great project! Quality leather craft is a pleasure.
Your artistry is amazing!!!
I love this project. Not so much that I would make this for this. But you really show some skills.
Thanks!
I think I would rather naw off my own arm then sew a 8-9 with and 8-9 gusset. You sir have some amazing talent, keep up the videos, love them!
Very nice, great craftsmanship. That would make a great little pouch to carry 22 LR in also.
My thoughts exactly!
I am new to leatherwork and am watching videos to learn and get ideas. I learned more from 2 of your videos than in all the others combined. This one and the one on the cuff taught a lot about stamping and tooling and layout,(oh my). How can I get a pattern for this cap and ball pouch? I really want to try it. Thamk you.
Very cool. Thank you for showing the application of your skills.
that turned out awesome
That was very nice piece!
gotta love 3D printing. You can even design and print your own stamps.
Very nice. Excellent work.
This is absolutely awesome
Love that stamp. What is it called? Where can I find it?
This is a cool project. Is there any chance of getting a pattern like this?
lot work, looks great
I’m a fan.
Man love your videos. They got me into leather working. What kind of thread are you using? It look a hell of a lot thicker than the stuff I use
Is the pattern for the shot pouch available ,I would like to make one 😀 for my self
Where do you get your stamping tools?
Beautiful
Very cool.
Is there a pattern for this ?? Or do you sell these ??
I did this as a boy, Now I miss it as a Man!
that'll kelp you from losing your marbles, good looking project
Quite nice
This is very nice. Where do you get your stamps
Thanks. Most are from Tandy. The others (including this one) I find on eBay.
@@RoadAgentLeather what is the tool number?
Pattern please, if you have them
How did you match up the stitching holes on the gusset
I don't really do anything to align them. I just punch the holes in the gusset and give myself a bit of extra length. Cut off excess when I'm done.
Excelente 👍👍 okey
👍🏽
What is the number the stamp you are using ?
It's from a seller on eBay. They're located in Bulgaria, so shipping charges/time are more than normal. But they have beautifully unique stamps like I haven't seen anywhere else. This one is listed as #296
@@RoadAgentLeather thank you , J live i Norway . Your work Are beatiful 😊
That tape 7:27 is the garbage by tomorrow.
What was the thread?
T270 bonded nylon
I would not use saddle soap but ok
Thanks for subscribing! You don't have to use the soap. It's just something I do.
Is this pattern available? Where do I get it?
I bought the pattern from a seller on eBay. They're located in Bulgaria, so it takes a while for shipping.

Who’s making that racket on that guitar? Tell the kid not now.
Amazing skills with shaky hands, either very nervous or see a doctor.
