I'm Kaz, a young farm vet working in Northumberland (but now on sabbatical in New Zealand!), which is in the North East corner of England. I grew up in the city and found myself doing this job by a very happy coincidence.
This channel is an attempt to show my friends, family, and anyone else who cares, what I do on a day-to-day basis. If you have an interest in veterinary medicine, farming, food or the countryside, join me for the ride.
Awe theyre so cuteee!
loving the vids! so informative - i watch thhem to feel productive while im actually procrastinating😂
When you graduate count it as CPD 😁
Interesting video. Why where you trying to keep the bolus warm?
Something I learned with a different brand to reduce regurgitation.
Great work. I love the concept of boluses. I wish there was such a thing for horses!
Not sure I’d be volunteering to put those in 😳
Oh I just watched the latest Cowley Farm sheep video and he hasn’t wormed his ewes in 4 years and is weeding out the sheep which seemed to be doing poorly with worms to try to breed in a resistance. His tests came back 115 per gram for worms. Is this approach being used by more farmers?
Definitely! Although varies hugely farmer to farmer.
Great video really interesting, i love it when you teach
You know what they say Sara - If you can’t do…
I have a feeling that the bottom may drop out of Wagyu being the latest trend.
Fingers crossed the boys have shifted these by then 🥹
What made you decide to become a large animal vet? Was it one of the TV shows like All Creatures Great and Small?
Just a great lambing placement and that was it for me…
