I loved this video so much. I could relate. I’m still in undergrad. I’ve been in undergrad for longer than I should be. And at some point I lost my passion and focus. But this video just reminded me of my why. I also fell in love with being a CA after attending a SAICA camp in matric. I also grew up in an abusive home but my mother never left and that has led to my depression and anxiety which in turn affected my studies. But I am saving this video for reference that I can do. When she said "God always prepares you for bigger thing" truly needed to hear it, I'm still an undergrad without a bursary and has been constantly being rejected by bursaries and I'm having a bursary interview this Thursday and truly hoping for the best.

I'm inspired... I chose a science stream in high school which included accounting luckily. Now I'm a first year BAcc student at UJ but this is not what I wanted to pursue initially but now I'm learning to adapt and choosing this course. I hope to make it to the stage where I'm a qualified CA.

Absolutely enjoyed this video. Im doing my CTA. I was also selected back then in high school grade 12 to attend the thuthuka camp. And it changed my life, that’s when I got to engage with other CAs and I got to know what the CA profession is all about. Before that I had been planning to follow another career. Had it not been for that camp I would’ve been studying something else. I’m so grateful to Thuthuka and I’m now also actually on their Bursary Fund.
