To me the biggest clue is the early signs of a recession when luxury brands aren't selling like they used to. Also, when people don't frequent luxury stores.

Yes! Early to bed, early to rise is excellent for our circadian rhythm. It is so important in many ways for our mental and physical health. And then to get sunshine outside first thing in the morning. I don’t think most of us realize just how important this is for our overall health. ❤️
Maybe less people in the super expensive stores due to the state of the world and energy costs, food and gas costs etc Only the rich can afford those types of things especially now. They need their $ to heat their home and make sure they have food stocked up etc. I wish we all could escape from what is really going on. They sure are pretty to look at though.
Retail shops are dying, recession, online shopping, there will be nothing only coffee shops, pharmacy s, hairdresser s and maybe beauty salon s on the high streets in the future if even they'll survive! It's very sad to see, because with it people will become more and more isolated too. Sad times 😢enjoyed the vlog very envious of your beautiful home and lifestyle you've worked hard enjoy it 😊

An English hat for Nashville... I would wait until you get to Tennessee to purchase a cowboy hat that would be most appropriate. They are made in different sizes and customized at the location to your head. You could probably order/ship a great Stetson from most western wear companies. There are a couple of good TH-cam videos that could help you shape it.
Fedoras are synonymous with America. I don't think a cowboy hat is really a Josie look.
@@KoriEmerson Well, hum... I don't think we want her look like a member of the mob either. Traveled all over the US and haven't seen many if any fedoras in Tennessee. If not interested in a Teressa Foglia such as rancher felt, Stetson, Resistol/Pure , and American Hat Co., perhaps a cream or pecan colored rancher or gaucho. Janessa Leone' has a nice selection of packable hats, perhaps a jericho or olsen; and has free international shipping. Not all cowboy hats look like John Wayne.

I think it’s because of inflation. Cost of living is high almost every where in the world. Bills need to be paid and grocery needs to be purchased.
Nobody has money. So all these influencers and companies constantly trying to get us to buy stuff, it’s pointless. Everyone’s going to be saving their money not spending it. We aren’t lucky enough to be sent all this stuff for free. We actually need to spend our money and buy all this stuff. I come onto TH-cam to relax and de stress. Not to be sold product after product.

Josie, it might be a good idea to consider putting your hair in a loose braid instead of a bun. It will not stretch out your curls quite as much and is more forgiving for hair all together

Look up homemade setting lotion. All natural and every one's grannies used it during the war to keep their wet sets. It's just flaxseed and water boiled. I get 4 days of curls out of my pin curls.

Josie I was also going to say re energy levels and cortisol etc: Try and eat something prior to your coffee. It is a game changer for blood sugar etc and helps to reduce that crash later from the caffeine. Even just a bliss ball or a boiled egg just something in your tummy prior to that caffeine hit. xx

Yes gurl...!!! The return to Standard Time and early sunrise and early sunset ALWAYS restore me! Very cosy and very restorative... I've never been one to stay up late, and always in bed before 8PM... I'm hoping we will be able to stop the Daylight Saving Time sometime soon. 😊

For your oat milk try Oatly Semi instead of the Barista, I use this as it doesn't bloat me. It's also the only other oat milk I've found to give a good froth 😊

Regarding the ‘fight or flight segment’ - I have to recommend a book/audio book about this topic that really helped me the past year: It’s called «Call of the wild» by Kimberly Ann Johnson. It’s really good for understanding what stress/trauma does to the body and brain, especially for women, and how you can actually rewire the nervous system out of the fight/flight/freeze mode
