@@TwoIndians they are definitely long distance kings. They are also very easy to live with when cruising city streets. I love bikes and may very continue adding to my collection and get a challenger in a couple years.
i have 2020 challenger limited and picked up an aftermarket tour pack that is lower and sleeker than the Indian offering. The Indian one looked to bulky on the challenger for my taste. The whole setup with quick release mount, stop and running lights with plug and play harness, passenger back rest pad and liner was $1,200. I chose the black mount and pack that ties in real nice with the black on the bike. They do offer color matched as well. I couldn"t justify spending 4 grand for one that was to bulky for the sleek lines of the Challenger.
That Challengers paint job looks on par with Harley Davidson's...Hopefully Indian's fit in finish paint job on that Challenger Elites becomes standard on all Indian's like most Harley's do...
Are there raised Indian logo's for the tank and places where an Indian logo appears straight from the dealer? If those were raised chrome like the word Indian on one of their bikes, this thing would look even better.
Love the Grey one ☝️ I like the elite on the saddlebags. What’s the reliability on a bike like that though? I guess if money isn’t an issue hell yeah! I’m sticking with my old reliables lol 😂 Oh did I say great video?👊💯
I mention it all in the video😉 . Powerband audio speaker set up ($1300) pathfinder adaptive headlight and driving lights ($1500) self adjusting pre-load for rear shock (value unknown) and you get the paint work ($2,000 $4,000 maybe) maybe???
@@TwoIndians right, but what I’m getting at is it’s basically an increase in amount just to say Elite.? Because can’t the other stuff just be added at any point to the lesser model? (Like it would fit, plug and play style.) I just think imo, that anything that is limited should should have something completely special with it. And no a paint job does not count. That’s my opinion.
Awesome video, but I just didn't come away impressed. None of the colors (grey and brown.....hooray) really popped for me and the whole "Elite" sticker plastered on the side is super cheese, IMO. I kinda dig the bronzed out engine on the Chieftain, but not against that flat gray. Either way, I'm sure they sell every one!
Very nice video I'm glad I gave you a like. Well deserved. The bikes though! How old is somebody when they can afford a motorcycle starting at 35,000? Are they 20 or 25 years old? Of course not. How about features like maybe a reverse gear? Quick release bags and fairing would be a good time also. If they would quit messing around and put the gauges back down on the tank where they belong they could have a quick-release fairing on there. As far as styling goes ever since I have seen the Indian chief Dark Horse Black Matt bobber all other bikes are just going to have to be compared to that. In my entire childhood I had the same little maybe foot Cube television that I was so proud of because it was color and that same television lasted me for probably a decade. Now if your cell phone is over 3 or 4 years old it is pretty much obsolete it is a dinosaur and you really need to upgrade before you kill yourself. This my friend is why I really don't want a bunch of electronics in the motorcycle itself because hell a motorcycle could last a decade or more. I don't want to update and then reboot my motorcycle I just want to start it and go for a ride. I'm a grumpy old man and I like it.

@@kevink5kev959 it's great that you pace yourself financially. Motorcycles are all about fun and relaxing not having to worry about a big payment. To point: I feel like the more a bike cost the more the bike/accessories available should cater to the likely age demographic making the purchase.
Hate to say it, but they just don't speak to me. To slap flat-finish paints and matte black metalwork on a motorcycle just doesn't say "Elite" in my world... Call me old school, but to me, a high end bike should highlight glossy finish, finely polished metalwork, and be absolutely DRIPPING chrome. And sadly, it seems THOSE kind of bikes are disappearing from the catalogs of Indian, Harley, and every other bike company. Why? Because black powder coat and flat paint hide a myriad of metal-finishing flaws, which means the process becomes CHEAPER. Which, if you were paying LESS for it, might make some sense... but to label it "Elite" and put a premium price tag on it? Really?
The biggest thing stopping me from getting a blacked-out motorcycle is you leave the dealership with it and write it one time and after that it never looks clean again. No matter how much you wash a flat black motorcycle it just never gets to that level that a nice rocking paint job gets to when it comes to just looking clean with the paint and the Sparkles and the Chrome and things and stuff.
@@michaelroy925 well what if someone wants Roneharts instead of Indian Stage 1? or the lloydz intake vs the Indian intake. would you wanna spend the money on Indian Stage x parts that you were gonna take off? How did you order one please?
