When I was little, my Grandmom would always bring home People magazine, Star, The Enquirer, etc. and I would always look through them and see pictures of Lisa Marie Presley with her mom and I’d always see pictures of John F. Yes, White Wedding w/ Billy Idol was good. That and Dirty Laundry were really good choices for her to do, with her smoky voice and edgy stage persona. I remember seeing her do this, I think, on Letternan years ago and really loved it. I never thought much of the Don Henley original, but it was perfect for her. She also worked with TB Bone Burnette, and he doesn’t work with anyone who isn’t really good. The lyrics to this one are poignant, especially now. If anyone knew what that blood thirsty paparazzi (AND the public) quest for dirty laundry is, it would be Lisa Marie Presley. What a heartbreaking story.

I do love this version of this song. It's a shame she had such a struggle in life and left us too soon. That poor girl had a lot of heartbreak in the midst of her seemingly charmed life.

Now, our only son has been gone for about 25yrs & jus feels liked forever... Hard to believe he would be 35. Can't wonder & wished that will turned me bk around & it Tooked me at least 20yrs to be able to function as a reg person again, I was broken & so lost 💔 My heart felt liked it was ripped out of my chest! I gradually started cming out of that dark room of mine, had 2# others & a husband that I had to tk cared of & was hurt badly! Even though my world seemed to be gone, I nurse him bk to health & he had to hv surgery from the accident... How I fought so hard to hv children, See cuz specialists told me that I wouldn't carried passed 6 Mos of a child & I did! We are strong believers in our faith & lord👑 but, I actually think it will tk me a lifetime to heal this 💔heart🫂
