I have a question for Josh and Ryan. Both of you have discussed how you grew up in unstable homes and had many obstacles in your family life. How have both of you overcome these circumstances, psychologically and financially? Both of you are so articulate and intelligent, I really appreciate your work and passion 💙💙💙

chowceo - You’d have more luck calling the number The Minimalists provided, and leaving a voice message there.

I came up with a new idea of how I know what I use or don't, kind of like Ryan's packing party I will for a certain amount of time maybe 6 weeks, I will use sticky dots and put them on everything I use in that time . I'm making progress but I have the just in case items which are annoying me, aka the 20/20 rule things!

There is a website that rates location on “walkability” it’s called walkscore.com. You type in an address and it gives you 1-100 rating on what your dependence on a car will be for errands, etc.

    Feedback:
I love these shorter 10-20 minute living room conversations / standing conversations.
It would be great to incorporate more of this into your videos (especially Soundcloud) rather than these 1 HOUR podcasts which is tough to stay listening to. Shorter daily affirmations the better for me! These need to live on Soundcloud or Spotify. I hope you read this thank you! James

Agree with the caller.... Moving from a gated community in the OC.... To Santa Ana (for instance)... Is definitely moving into a riskier neighborhood (crime etc.).

    Hello!
I was wondering if you would talk about how Minimalism would be of benefit to teenagers and/or how to live minimalist in college settings.

The ending music reminded me of Breaking Bad! Great message and poignant way to get your point across. Loved it!

When he said the quality of your neighbors goes down he means that crime goes up.

My rent is £300 (maybe around $400). It's 1 bedroom apartment right next to a prostitute / drug dealer. I spent $200 for some noise cancelling headphones

Crazy people can be pretty dangerous. One guy punched a person I know in the face out of nowhere on the way to work and broke her nose.

The more you make the more you spend...that’s all. There’s nothing unusual about someone earning 6 figures and still being in debt. It’s called living above your means.

Disagree on the homeless and crazy people not being important. Someone throwing things at you, especially when you have kids, no bueno.
