    Can’t wait to see all the clean up, it’s a start and it looks better already. But the city of SM has to do something about the shopping malls’ garage structure. It’s by far the grossest thing I’ve ever experienced, I almost 🤮. The smell of urine in Skid row not nearly as bad.

      For the city of LA they need to find a solution for this problem of the homeless no city should look like this I understand a lot of them are on drugs or have some mental disorder but they need to be placed somewhere else not on public beaches or on the city streets I here they don’t like the homeless shelter because they don’t like to follow the rules like really, but with people with no mental disorder or that are not on drugs they rather be on the streets then work towards a roof over there heads is beyond me.

    When I was working at Walmart I was talking to a coworker about all of homeless that just appeared around the store. A customer was listening to us and she just screamed “they don’t all choose to be homeless!” I responded with “yeah I know. But they CAN choose to clean up after themselves” she didn’t say another word.. the homeless “problem” wasn’t a thing after a week

      Yep, It is usually a big mess where ever they are. There is a spot in the valley were two homeless motorhomes are perpetually parked where I drive by. Clean as a whistle. It is quite an anomaly. I guess they saw the light and realized no one will kick them out if everything is clean. They even have a canopy over the sidewalk where they hang out. No trash or garbage anywhere.

    This has to be exhausting for the city workers. It's one thing to deal with homelessness but another thing to clean up after them. they make the biggest mess and never clean up after them selves.. This is a bigger issue than being homeless. They collect junk, throw trash everywhere and are just straight up pigs. period!!

Never in my life have I heard a trash collector tell someone step away from a trash truck until I heard him. He doesn't like the camera, that's all it is. So dangerous they don't even wear safety glasses.

    If a area could be kept clean this may be done less often. More bigger dumpsters that the_ could use might help. But many will keep anything and everything when you do not have a place to store it for later use does not help either. If there was a free storage buildings that they could use for needed and wanted items it may work at getting some streets cleaned up.

    Hate to say it but these homeless are the same as squatters. It is hard to get a squatter out of your house. They feel a right to be there. They have taken over the beach, the tables meant for visitors to sit and eat food purchased from the vendors there. They have learned how to survive. There are stolen grocery carts bikes, and other items used to add to their camps. This cleanup is temporary. The homeless isn't just from California, they migrate here from other cold climate states, from across the border. Some homeless would rather be outdoors than in a shelter. If only they wouldn't leave such a mess, that adds to the disdain of their presence.

  • @joeanon5788
    @joeanon5788 ปีที่แล้ว

    SIMPLE: First, set up an area of x square miles in the desert (like slab city). Use the Army. Fence it in. Then go on a massive sweep of the cities streets. If people can leave the streets on their own, ok. If not, they are taken to the desert 'cities' where they can manage themselves, just like they do on the streets. Let them govern their own, and police their own. Charities can visit them, food, clothing, medical and such. City provides potties and trash pickup. Done. You can live like that if you want to, just ain't gonna happen in the city. Other options for the non addicts, help with legit housing and jobs and education, and help getting into the Peace Corps, or the Military or Community College. "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here" Last Call to End It All. Clean up the streets, and then zero tolerance after that. WTF?!?!?!?!?
