It’s going to be less power creep and more countering characters. Lily is a GIANT counter to Eiron. Actually beat a rank 17 Eiron Thorin Heiwin Damian Arden team for the first time because of her. (And I don’t have great investment in characters, with no paragons and most below L+) Characters will come out that counter Thorin, and others that counter them. It will be a rock-paper-scissors balancing act, which I like because you need to understand strategy. Right now, it IS just “Thorin Eiron team”, and that gets boring.
Imo... pul for Lily May now. She might/might not be top for DR at the start of next season, but we already know she outperforms marilee now... by a lot. So, imo it's better to pull for her on guaranteed pulls (rate up banner) than putting her on the wishlist next season in hopes you'll get lucky and pull a copy of her. Again, this is just imo, but I do think the logic is sound.
I just do the regular rate up recruitment honestly. The reason being is like the heroes we have now they’re kind of used combined with some of the newer heroes. On the season thing I’ve noticed it’s better to have a variety of heroes built then focus on just one faction.
So I had about 19k diamonds and some 4 or 6 rate up letters when the banner changed. After a lot of thinking I decided it would be best to go into the standard banner more because I still have a few key units to build. Got my first double S pull on the standard banner and now am putting all my income into Lilly for the rest of her banner. Got lucky and pulled a Lilly copy on my first 10 from rate up. YAY for today! Been playing FTP since launch. Hope everyone's having as much fun as this guy
Totally forgot about the top camp buff to +15 units, that explains the dmg difference as mine was +15😭😭 Very similar formation but my smokey was one tile to the left
I think this is going in more of a rock-paper-scissors direction than a “who is the best” direction. Lily counters Eiron teams. Odie counters Igor teams. Scarletta counters Talene and Thorin teams. Looking at “who is better” is going to be subjective on what teams you are facing. We just aren’t yet there with enough characters. It’s like playing rock paper scissors with only one half of a scissors. You just got a scis.
In low difficulty battles it isnt that "magic damage does better than true damage," it is that true damage skills have very low multipliers. If an enemy has no defenses, the highest multiplier skill does the best, whether magic, physical, or true.
@Wraec it really depends, if we get a shield meta like the last world boss next season and she won't be affected by many cc coz of her skill timing she can surely shine
I have recently played this game for 3 days, and don't even understand the whole scene of this game. Very confused. Because someone classifies into rank S+ So should I summon "more" her on rate up banner or not ? I'm on the way to building Eironn team, and there is no hero that reaches M+
I use the combination of Talene and Odie more often but also used Alsa a lot in the past. Really strong damage. This time I wanted to test Alsa of course :-)
I think they want to timegate it even more. A bit annoying but I get why they do it. Was a lot of time you needed to spend at the beginning of the last season to stay on top of the leaderboard

Depends on the amounts of summons you do I guess but yeah summoning now will guarantee you get her. Also you get the nice chibi lily May hat :-)
Yea, and when people figure out more optimized teams for her, she will only get better.

@FilmFlam-8008 For PvP yes. For Dream Realm it's more about using the right hero at the right time :-)

I pulled her today and received two early and two doubles. One of the doubles was the last pull so I have a copy I can’t use.
To be fair, since she does also good dmg in pvp and in pve her ult will do also magic dmg I guess she will still be good regardless true dmg
