Michael Drabelle i know people like that. Always trying to look innocent while trying to bring someone down or spoil their mood.
And Robert was wonderful, just walking away. Not doing his usual diva things, like some of celebrities would do, only refusing to answer those questions.
Just because he's movie star, doesn't mean he has to share everything with the world, especially when he's not comfortable to do so. It was the best of them all.

He got visibly upset. He started breathing heavily and looked like he was trying to hold it in as best as he could. I can’t believe that guy like he knew RDJ didn’t want to talk about it because he was super worried to ask super awkward about it and just NOT the guy to ask questions like that.

@@cabdaqui7970 the interviewer asked Evans first, RDJ "felt offended" coz people consider iron man as the leader so he was usually asked the 1st question during any interviews.. but obviously, RDJ was kidding about being mad

You can just see how much his demeanor and even breathing changes when that interviewer started talking about RDJs personal life, I feel so bad that he was put in that situation
He entered fight or flight mode, good thing he handled it well
I felt so bad for him. You can tell that genuinely he really is a strong man with a great heart, but he is also just a person like you or me. He struggled to stay professional but you could see how it hurt him in his heart. Robert did not work so hard to become the respectable legend he is today for some amateur interviewer to ice him with his past. What a fucking jerk.
I really wished I could enter my phone somehow and punch that asshole.

Jeez, the nerve of that reporter. Sure It's his job to ask questions, but an interview for movie promo should not suddenly (and accusatorily) hit RDJ's personal history. His demeanor CLEARLY showed immense discomfort - correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he's been completely sober since 2003, and flipped his entire damn life arouns for the better. He handled the questions extremely well - very poised, direct, and not rude at all. 👍 Good on you Downey!

i believe he’s actually been sober since 2001-2002? i could be wrong, but regardless, RDJ is an inspirational man who has built himself up and is now someone a lot of people look up to. gotta love him ❤️
