it's great that he says at the beginning the song may not last that long, and here it is still being enjoyed today, and with its inclusion in the recent guardians of the galaxy vol. 2, will only grow in popularity again. which is perfect because it's such a beautiful song
Thanks for your compliments. The credit for the actual mixing goes to one of my students here in China. His name is Alin and he is quite talented. I presented the concept to him and he executed it almost flawlessly - and probably better than could realistically be expected. Of course, the singer and the song both made the work that much more meaningful.
my mom cired when se saw this video it was kinda nostlagy for her to know how fast life goes away it was kinda heartbreaker and at the same time i was like wow!!! how something can touch people just right in the spot that more sensible is
thanks for sharing this video, and to Alin for construct it...it's very emotionnal, because who and what is Yusuf now is the result of this way Cat went away....
I don't know if anyone realizes. But if you watch both of the videos individually. As Yusuf he seems much more comfortable and identifies with the father. But as cat Stevens he seems more agitated and he seems to identify more with the son.
What a brilliant idea to make this. Of course, the song was always a duet. Has the original version been deleted from TH-cam, and why have so many been deleted? At least I've still got all the original LP's
This was also deleted, and I appealed, and I lost the appeal. Then, all of a sudden and out of the blue, the song was opened back up. (When they delete it, they don't actually delete it, it stays in your folder, but invisible to others - only you can play it.) I'm so grateful that they did, as Alin and I worked very hard on this and I know that the song touches many of those who hear it.
It makes me cry, the two performance together :"(
Best Song ever ♡
One of favourite songs... ever. From just about my favourite artist. What a wonderful way to present this.
