Understand all you are saying. I have a deep electrical background. What should the voltages be on each of the pins for the footrest motor and the hand controller
Hi, so I came across your video and im really panicked about my lift chair getting stuck in place and it somehow lifted all the way up and I can’t get it to reset its position to normal and I don’t know what to do or how to fix it, does this video work if it’s stuck high? and do you have any answer why it malfunctioned or any solution to fix it?
A couple of different things. Does the power supply still have its light on? If not, could be a power supply issue. It could be a remote issue and it could possibly be a motor issue. Does the motor make any noise if you try and go up or down? 800-970-5889 if you need further help.
It means that you either have an issue with the remote or the base motor needs to be replaced. If you don't hear any noise out of the base motor, it is most likely the remote. If you can hear a hum or noise out of the base motor but it is not doing anything, you need a new motor. Give us a call at 800-970-5889 and we can help with any replacement part.
I don’t have replacement parts to swap to identify the culprit. We tried a power supply off amazon now returning. I thought the switch; you can swap it atthe plug to test if I had one. A ohmmeter, but those odd plugs don't...well, i guess I could tape needles...
If it isn't the power supply, it has to be the switch or the motor. My guess is it is the switch. You can call us at 800-970-5889 and we can help you find the correct replacement switch.
If you if you remote control for the chair stick in the lock key position and it’s not coming off just that solid red lock and it’s not moving to green. What’s the best thing to troubleshootthat?
Unplug the remote and see if that fixes it. Also check the light color on your power supply. If that is red, the issue is the remote. If it is green, it could still be the remote. If none of that does it, you need a new remote.
@@joanngreen9714 Very good question. You can purchase a lithium battery backup that can operate the chair fully for 30 days or more. We have multiple varieties that are made so that you are always able to operate your chair even in a major power outage situation.
Yes, we have power supplies with backup batteries. We have a couple different varieties. Call us at 800-970-5889 and we would be happy to go over some options. You can see all the options here: greatfurnituredeal.com/collections/rechargeable-battery-power-supplies
I know what the problem is with my chair. It's been broken before. Defective part the service man told us, and that it happens often. Had to call the seller's service dept. What a hassle. Took about 4 month to get him to come out only to tell us the part had to be ordered. Cost $150 not including the part. I'm not doing that again. Just want to close the chair and buy a foot stool.
Sorry about the issue with the store. Hopefully this video helped you uninstall the motor so that you can use it. If you need help with any parts, let us know.
I have an Ashley power recliner and the remote works for every position however the backrest will not go all the way upright. What can cause that problem?
Sorry for the delay in responding. If it doesn't go all the way up, it is most likely that the motor is broken. We can help you with that. 800-970-5889
If you don't hear any weird sounds from the motor, it is most likely the remote. However, there is a small chance it could be the motor as well. I'd start with the remote if you don't hear weird noises from the motor. Call us at 800-970-5889 for help ordering a new remote.
You remove the base motor completely and then you can manually fold it in. If you are waiting on a motor to arrive, that will still make the chair so you can sit in it until you get the motor. If you need help finding a replacement part, you can contact us at 800-970-5889
Thank you! I was going to ask the same question. I’ve looked for an answer for a week! You explained everything so well, much appreciated. Just subcribed. Can’t wait check out your other videos!
In our experience, that has not been able to be done successfully. If your motor is not working, send us pictures of the motor, in most cases we can find a current compatible motor. 800-970-5889
@user-mm7hr6pn8y Según nuestra experiencia, eso no se ha podido hacer con éxito. Si su motor no funciona, envíenos fotos del motor, en la mayoría de los casos podemos encontrar un motor compatible actual. 800-970-5889

You're blessed keep it that way ❤

I prefer manual recliner but had to buy power in order to get real leather.
Most folks after having and experiencing power will never go back to manual. The features of power chairs is significantly better.
@@Greatfurnituredeal yes but my fear is with power is if it breaks down and my chair is stuck in the outward position what do I do?

Manual recliner better if you don't have disability. Less parts to go wrong, no trailing wires. Cheaper too.
Do you sell parts for different makes and models
Yes we do, if you'd like assistance you can text or call us at 801-609-3220 to find the compatible parts!
Mine the up button works intermittently, it clicks and moves in the recline mode. What part do I need?
