  • Start out with adding more to what we learned about humidity ( still so much more to learn!)
    Then we add measuring wet bulb and due point.
    Using psychrometer, hygrometer, sling psychrometer and getting wet bulb with just a shoe string and a thermometer.

    Science is crazy..my mind wants to believe that as the thermometer absorbs heat, it's temperature will increase but the evaporation makes it drop. Very cool, great video!

    I had so much trouble understanding this terms and I just can’t believe how great your teaching methods are. I really apreciate that you always manage to have a practical or physical way to demonstrate this phenomenons it makes everything so clear. Thanks a lot, I’ve been watching you from mexico for over a year or so.

    Really appreciate this. I'm a meteorology student and having a bit of trouble comprehending wet bulb zero and all that jazz. Seeing it in a more practical sense made it far more understandable. Thanks!

      It is nice that someone like Ty teaches to and for you in plain laymans language , not in a over the top of our head understanding and comprehension . He does not complicate the lesson .

    Apparently, for older people, dehumidification is more important than cooling for their comfort since it permits comfort at a higher temp. According to a rep presentation I saw at HVAC School.

    • @love2hvac
      @love2hvac  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      That is correct.
      Before I taught phycrometrics, I would dehumidify a room people would gripe it was to "cold" lots of coughs. The next day I would use humidifiers at the same temperature make the room really humid. The class would complan how hot it was. I would say, but its the same temperature. Then I would ask, "Do you want to know why?" and lead in to phycrometrics class. I cant wait to do those videos here.

    LOL - Come to Denver in August when it is 105 degrees, 9% humidity, UV index of 10 and tell me about this! I am kidding, but it evaporates so quickly, you don't even sweat. But riding a motorcycle on that same day is like getting hit by a wall of blow dryers and it is not refreshing as it would be in a humid climate.

    Great Video. Watching every video you upload. Can you please make a video about heatload calculations? I saw there was one video about it. It would be much better if you can do a video on calculation step by step without using a software.

      Humm that's a good question!
