there are dozens of popular books that are getting adapted for the big screen! we made a list of some of the most anticipated book to screen adaptations for 2024 and we can't wait to see these completed! Let us know in the comments some adaptations you're excited for, and of we missed any popular ones in this video!

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer was picked up for an animated series with the script written. Also A Darker Shade of Magic and This Savage Song Duology by V.E Schwab was picked up. And I believe The Secret History was picked up for a movie as well. Would love to see how all of these turn out if they happen

Totally agreed, the authors should be part of adaptations. I am holding no hope for TJR books to movies and few many others to actually be good, honestly, as I don’t want to be disappointed with the final product lol…
I literally shouted when you said The Inheritance Games. I love that series and now I can’t wait for the adaptation! I’m also super excited for Fourth Wing becoming a show. I also got excited when you mentioned The Nightingale. I loved that book. I can totally see the Fanning sisters in it.
The Fanning sisters would be perfect in the roles! Hopefully they go through with it!

Talia Hibbert’s Ravenswood series has been optioned for TV. She announced that on her Facebook page just last week.
There's also Netflix's 3 Body Problem which set for March 21 release date, adapted from the 2015 Hugo Award winner The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu, it's part of the Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy, the Netflix show was written and produced by Game of Thrones showrunners DB Weiss and David Benioff.
However this is not the first time the books got an adaptation, previously a 30 episodes Chinese TV series adapted from the 1st book was aired last January and it was praised by fans for sticking incredibly close to the book.
Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan will be adapted into a TV show as well! Super excited ♡
Just saw an add for The Last Thing He told Me starring Jen Gardner. The book was pretty good so high hopes for this offering!
There will be two adaptations of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas for 2024: A film with Pierre Niney and a miniseries with Sam Claflin and Jeremy Irons.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends with us is gonna turn out as a movie. I know they changed the ages of the characters from the book, cause it's not possible for a 29 year old to be a full doctor. I mean in real life thats just maybe an intern or resident not full doctor. So that's changed to make it more believable.
