Thank you for inviting Caroline Glick. It was awesome informative conversation with real patriot of Israel and advocate for Jewish survival. She certainly should play significant role in future Israeli government that would reverse the pacification of genocidal Israeli enemies promoted by current military leadership and turn Israel into sovereign state,

dec 1944 - the allies were surprised in the ardennes in an intelligence failure .. sept 2001 - america despite reports was surprised by attacks with planes .. oct 2023 - israel despite info was surprised by hamas in gaza .. the problem with far reaching terrorism is that you can be correct 99% of the time and the missing 1% will have great negative impacts ...

I agree with Caroline Glick every time she opens her mouth. I don’t know why but I feel like she was willing to be more open on your show than on her own- and it scares me. I agree with the only possible solution as she sees it. I was glad to hear her speak openly about political leaders in Israel. I don’t know why those generals are still there. I am so sorry for America’s part in everything - especially Obama and Biden’s administrations. I standard for Israel - much better, So does God. Even so it looks like Israel will pay a horrible price before this all ends.

OPENESS, TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY are (NOT SELF DESTRUCTIVE) but the best way, THE MOST CARING way, in any problematic situation. Deceiving others and yourself and hiding your head in the sand, usually/eventually erupts into irreparable damage which could have been prevented , had it not been kept under the wraps, but rather nipped in the bud.

Caroline's words about the lack if leadership made me think about the following.
My uncle was a navigator in WWII bomber command and then a מח"ל navigator in 1948, and he's buried in the Rehovot military cemetery.
Following is from a letter he sent to his friend in Toronto September 20, 1948 (he died October 24, 1948):
"The army here is rotten with politics and it really is shocking. You get the feeling that we have a situation like South American republics where they have a revolution a day and so on. Some days three armies taking orders from their own commanders is very discouraging to see them working at cross purposes. It hampers the war effort no end..."

  • @davidlasoff8261

Imagine the US Supreme Court brazenly coming out via a narrow margined decision that they, the judges themselves can now decide to pass a binding judgment on clauses in the Constitution declaring a certain section(s) of a particular article null and void. That power was just self-agrandized to the Israeli Supreme court justices wherein they ruled that they have jurisdiction over Basic Laws (Israel's default to a framework of constitutionality since it has no written constitution) as well as everything else the Knesset passes into law. This is nothing short of a real judicial coup d'etat. What makes this outrageous ruling even more egregious is that the court did this in the middle of the war when they knew the Israeli public would be focused on their survival, not on the on-going travesty of the political divide between those who see the danger and want to restore systemic balance and those who have no actual comprehension of what it means to genuinely be a democratic nation with checks and balances between the branches of government. Right now, with their commissars in place able to thwart ministers in their duty to establish laws with the people's welfare in mind, the court can now finally rule on anything it wants to making the Knesset, the PM and all ministries subservient to the court. In Israel, we never had true representation because of the corrupt party system and the various cults of personality in charge of parties without geographical regions (which are like provinces) or big cities being represented in the national government like other countries, such as South Korea or the US which have federal systems. Watch them now get rid of Netanyahu just because they can or think they can.

    A brilliant podcast.
42:28 Many people on the right have a compelling vision in a specific area, e.g. Levin/Rothman on the judiciary/governance, Zelecha on the economy, Avi Maoz on education. But there aren't many on the right with a compelling vision of Israel's future as a whole. Caroline Glick certainly has something of that, as does Bezalel Smtrich; but IMO the outstanding figure here is Moshe Feiglin, who has for 30 years articulated a coherent and consistent vision of what Israel is and should be.
40:19 The description of Netanyahu's non-confrontational-ness but putting all the alternatives to shame, mirrors Feiglin's complaint about the right and it's articulation of the future direction of Israel - the right is very articulate about the horribleness of the alternatives offered by the left, but unable to put a finger on precisely on the positive direction the right wants to go.

This is the first time, I have seen Glick speak with some honesty - now she admits IDF and Israel are floundering !
After 7 Oct. 2024, her voice was quivering and trembling. She was in shock.

Being a bit disingenuous here, are we? Anything you wish to find out about Jewish culture and traditions is available in good book stores, in the Religion section. Am pretty sure you know this. We are not mysterious. Just buy or borrow a sensible book. Not Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” or some lie-filled tome by an Islamist. As a Christian, you follow Jesus. Jesus was a Jew in a Jewish country. His country. So, read about his life under the Romans who crucified him and burnt down our second temple. That would be as good a start as any.

Netanyahu is the author of the Hamas-containment doctrine. And this doctrine is *the precondition* of the October 7th massacre. The IDF's failure that day was made lethal *because* Netanyahu decided that Hamas is under control and is pacified. At this point, it does not matter if other statemen in Israeli politics are worse than he is ideologically. After such a disastrous strategic calling as Netanyahu did, any head of state must go. Otherwise, there is no incentive for these people to take their jobs seriously, and politics means nothing - it's just mindless following of personalities. I appreciate Mrs Glick very much and hope that she will soon realize this and aim her considerable powers of criticism against Netanyahu - for Israel's sake.

As an Israeli that made aliah, I could not disagree more with carline. Her depiction of the Supreme Court is detached from reality. Her support of the judicial overhaul almost destroyed Israel and if it passed in its entirety, I would have left the country.

She says she had a fairy tale idea of the IDF ? It is actually, the IOF, Israel Occupation Force, whose morale is sapped.

If you cant be confrontative dont bother with the interview. She spoke for half an hour , some truths , untruths and total garbage. You never brothered to pull her up on on issue. She took the army apart on Oct 7 , then said if Lapid was in power it would have been a disaster.!!!No clarity in het thought. Boring , you did not challenge her AT ALL. Only towards the end a little re Judah and Shomron
Listen to some great interviewers ,they create dynamics....

Saying "THEY are detached from Israeli people" is just so nazi bs! The Israeli public is split 50-50 on almost every issue so who is detached from who exactly?
And it is of course so necessary for that woman to shift the blame for 7.10 to the army, to the head of intelligence! Politics is determined by politicians! The politicians, not the army, decided to feed Ihye Sinwar!
In short, everything is clear with this woman after 5 minutes of conversation. It's just a collection of stupid right-wing clichés.

Very interesting. A big selling point for me that the state of Israel should exist is that in any other country including tge United States is the what happened in Germany. Poland, France, Lithuania etc during WW2 could gappen again. So I want to see that Israel is self sufficient militarly. Here in the U.S. the left thinks that a diplomatic solution should always be pursued and a military solution should as much as possible be avoided. Still the prospect of Israel controlling and dominating Gaza in perpetuity with an inevitable arab resistence and constant loss of IDF soldiers seems very unappealing. The problem here is ccx with the arab governments. I think that if in the future an arab middle class develops, then diplomatic solutions will arise. But if Israel sticks with millitary suppression, then these better solutions will never arise. I believe Israel should follow president Biden's advice and see an arab third party, such as an upgraded Palistinian Authority to govern Gaza.

Dear Caroline. Isn't it the natural human way , AFTER YOU have had a very publicised failure , to hold on , even demand to be allowed to take on new challenges in order to VINDICATE YOURSELF IN THE PUBLIC EYE ? Relieve yourself of your misery ?

O very it's easy to look back to what should have happened or should have been done. But this is not going to help moving forward. Prophecy written 4000 years ago predicted all these things, even how Iran will cause great instability. Read prophecy. It could safe your life.
