He is probably too busy to be honest. Unless he had some really worthwhile cars to review in the area, taking the time to go there to just tell some stories doesn't make sense.
I love the offroad station wagons, they have a stance to them that just works for me. Not silly SUV tall, but also not to sled like station, it just works from a visual perspective.
Those allroad/allterrain/XC wagons are really popular up here in scandinavia. High enough for bad road conditions and snow. And they dont get stonechips in the paint around the wheelwells and less scrapes on the bumpers. Good cars:D
6:53 Another thing driving interest in these "all terrain" versions of normal cars is the generally failing state of infrastructure. Sporty rims and struts are too fragile for daily driving in many cities now. In DFW, ugly Subaru Outbacks have gotten bizarrely popular for this reason. There's almost never snow, ice is rare, and good camping is... distant. The Outback is a ludicrous car for Dallas. But it handles potholes like a champ, and can take a "Texas Exit" with ease, and even get an MPG or two better than an F-150. 😅
I love Doug and his collection. His barbie G wagen makes me violently ill though, and the value it reaches doesn't help. Ah well, all the great ones have quirks...
You have to admit that Doug DeMuro. has made some pretty good decisions purchasing cars. for his time on YT, and he admits to some of the not so good purchases that he has made. but when gathered up to where he is currently. he has become a pretty good car enthusiast.
Off topic comment:: The thumbs up for this video were 2.9 k ...I clicked the thumbs up and turned it up to 3k. I've clicked thumbs up on a million videos, and this is only the 2nd time that I saw the count rise. 😊 ...Yes, I know I'm being silly. 😂 Edit: Great video!!! These people are some of the *_very best on youtube!!!_*
Nice job giving Doug some time at the end. When you guys priced his license plate wall...I couldn't stop laughing....really? Sure, it's cool, but it's not $150k cool. HAHA! So cool in fact, I've put up my own "collection" of license plates in my home office. It's a cool way to decorate a space.
I still have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier that my Dad bought new for my Mom. It's been a great car. Considering all the newer cars have computers (and over the air updates) and going towards EVs...what old or current car(s) are likely to last trouble free for the next 25 years?
he doesn't really have any reason to buy one other than nostalgia but id love to see him back in a w210 e55 amg. they deserve a lot more praise than they get
Tim just did a video in Indy where they are completely rebuilding/refurbishing the Carrera GT for $275k and I think for what you get is an insane bargain.
Should come to Australia, each state has a number one plate, some of them are worth a few million. For example the state of Queensland Q1 has been owned by the same man for about 25 years and he was offered a million for it about 20 years ago and was knocked back. In the states of Victoria and New South Wales, some single digit plates have sold for a few million each. As for the Landcruser over here $40,000 buys you a 20 to 30 year old Landcruser, to be about to purchase a newer 200 series Landcruser you'll need north of $100,000
I personally can attest that the black plates in Delaware, the lower the number, the more money they are worth. I think numbers 1-9, maybe 1-20 at the most are reserved for people in the government and the rest, people pay some big bucks for those black plates.
6:53 these make no sense stateside cause our roads are wide and so SUV’s make more sense. In other markets where SUV’s are too expensive for the average family, these tall wagons are much more popular.
still not sure why DD didn't go for the yellow premium... he's been obsessed with it for years, and $$ wise he could rationalize it as an investment since it will always be a rarer color
Don't do a private party car deal without Caramel - vinwiki.com/r/caramel23
The Subaru outback is in between, but it’s not luxury, but it never fails. It never well.
"This wall is maybe worth three grand, not a hundred thousand, ED. So maybe stick to valuing cars" -Doug
holy shit lmao
He fr roasted and complimented them at the same time.
Roaaaaasted
Are you making closed captains for the deaf?
We just seen the video..
When are we gonna see Doug on the channel telling some of his car story’s? He must have some great ones to tell.
That could be an entire series
Get his books! So many stories in there
He is probably too busy to be honest. Unless he had some really worthwhile cars to review in the area, taking the time to go there to just tell some stories doesn't make sense.
When Doug comes to ATL he films episodes. He has several episodes over the years.
@@TheFirBall That's a different Doug iirc.
If it was a joke, ignore me.
Alternative title: John Ficarra roasts Doug Demuro’s cars for 10 minutes
He ain't wrong about the G Cab!!! 😂
Cus the other two guys seem to be a little out of touch with anything that’s not a super car or super luxury car.
Rightfully so too 😂
He goes in, but at the very end of the video he compliments Doug
I think ficcarra is a toolbag, but that's just me
Doug is the undisputed goat of automotive TH-cam.
agreed
THIS, is true.
I would say savagegeese, is but Doug definitely has a fantastic channel for sure too
These are so much fun. Thanks for having me on Ed & congrats to Doug on an epic collection of cars!
I wanna see how much your collection is worth lol
John Ficcara calling the CGT V10 “scrumptious” is just maybe the best description I’ve heard to date
I love having the appraised showing up! I know a lot of them have done reaction, so this is awesome!
Doug finally made it!
So glad to see him here.
THISSSSSSSSS is the video I've been waiting for.
This.... Is another week of Doug DeMuro not actually being on VinWiki
Edit: I stand partially corrected but he still didn't tell a story 😂
FWIW Doug's '97 NAS Defender sold for $96,000 almost exactly 1 year after this video came out.
I love the offroad station wagons, they have a stance to them that just works for me. Not silly SUV tall, but also not to sled like station, it just works from a visual perspective.
I have a lifted wagon and could not agree more!
We wanna see doug tell some stories!
I second that
Buy his book
@@nathanstanley845 what’s his book about
@@Thatguy55595 his stories throughout his earlier days on and before TH-cam, I recommend it
The amount of tong and cheek humor of Vinwiki is what makes this channel so much fun........And they also know a good bit about cars!! Lol...
exactly!
I started watching Doug almost 8 years ago and it's been so cool too see him grow and succeed.
I would love to see a Doug Score component to the next Car Trek.
Really, really cool to see Doug's response in video.. A+ stuff sirs..
The Doug addition at the end was fantastic - great job Ed and team! (And I'm not a Doug fan-boi just to be clear).
I remember watching Doug when he was driving the Viper in the snow.
Those allroad/allterrain/XC wagons are really popular up here in scandinavia. High enough for bad road conditions and snow. And they dont get stonechips in the paint around the wheelwells and less scrapes on the bumpers. Good cars:D
Outstanding video and collaboration. Thank you for a great content to everyone involved! Cheers from Canada!
THISSSSS 💁🏼♂️ was a great video
I agree - g wagon cabro worth more than $175k. It’s very special.
Love it when my fav youtubers collaborate. Great video, Ed and team!
THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS VINWIKI HAS EVER DONE!!!!!! WIth The Featuring, And Or "Cameo" Of @Doug Demuro!!!!!! 😂🤣😄😁😎👍
6:53 Another thing driving interest in these "all terrain" versions of normal cars is the generally failing state of infrastructure. Sporty rims and struts are too fragile for daily driving in many cities now.

I drive an Outback and it's a fantastic car. Very comfortable, spacious, efficient. The base engine is slow but I don't need to be fast.
Same reason I bought a manual Crosstrek.
Great video, awesome seeing Doug on the channel!!
Wow, I never thoughts we'd see the day where Doug is on VinWiki. That's neat.
Love this!! All these guys make great car content!
I hope you guys can get Doug in more of these videos! This is so cool :D
So cool! Yes :)
I’ve met Doug twice at the store. I get to see his awesome G wagon. I was driving a Buick Encore so I felt embarrassed.
The response from the collection owner is a really fun component to the video.
Another great episode! Would love to hear a car story from Doug.
I love this series, need to do David Lee’s collection
I haven't kept up on what's currently in his stable but I'd have to say it's north of 100 mil.
I would watch that too!!
Loved hearing Doug’s take on yalls eval! Another great one!!!
I love Doug and his collection. His barbie G wagen makes me violently ill though, and the value it reaches doesn't help. Ah well, all the great ones have quirks...
My boy Doug out there throwing a bit of shade at Ed hahaha
Doug DeMuro's car collection is an absolute dream!
This was a fun one. Thanks for weighing in Doug. I can't believe your Barbie Jeep is worth that much!
This is a great series, thanks guys

Doug's reaction vid was great--it earned an easy "like" on this video. Great collection!
maybe you aren't but i feel that the sheer novelty of these cars being owned by doug demuro adds value
Id love to see you guys appraise Mr JWW’s collection next, he has an incredible collection
I would watch that video!
The doug piece was amazing 😍

Winners don't hawk sponsors on their channel, and Doug has proved that adding value to his brand and getting golden parachute by investers
Dougs response was amazing.
He had my laughing so hard at times LOL
Nice job giving Doug some time at the end. When you guys priced his license plate wall...I couldn't stop laughing....really? Sure, it's cool, but it's not $150k cool. HAHA!

Thissssss was a amazing video
Awesome video, I loved getting Doug’s feedback too
the g wagon is one of the nicest cars doug has, it has the most amount of presence, the g wagon cabriolet is one of the ultimate cars you can own
Loved this video. Nicely done, gents.
I still have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier that my Dad bought new for my Mom. It's been a great car. Considering all the newer cars have computers (and over the air updates) and going towards EVs...what old or current car(s) are likely to last trouble free for the next 25 years?
Wow, really loved how VinWiki integrated Dougs comments. well done.
Love to see John appraising a Toyota Land Cruiser! I'm used to seeing him talking about Lambos and Ferraris .
Doug is the type of guy who still hasn't been a guest on the VinWiki channel
I loved the playfully diss front Doug at the end of his reaction 😂😂
What do you think Doug should buy next?
Lancia Delta Integrale to fill the void left by the RS2!
@@nathanTjenkins I stand by that, he's lusted after that car for a while, and the Evo II is the coolest hot hatch of all time IMO.
he doesn't really have any reason to buy one other than nostalgia but id love to see him back in a w210 e55 amg. they deserve a lot more praise than they get
Fiat multipla
Freddy’s P1! 😂
Tim just did a video in Indy where they are completely rebuilding/refurbishing the Carrera GT for $275k and I think for what you get is an insane bargain.
I fucking love the Doug response!
Ficarra is still in the "I haven't spent any time with an M113-powered G-wagon so i think they're stupid" part of life.
Should come to Australia, each state has a number one plate, some of them are worth a few million. Doug: “You were pretty spot on…. except with my G-wagen, and my wall!”
Doug would know his var valuation as hes the kind of guy who carries a clip board everywhere he goes and looks at car's in detail..
A wholesaler wanting the smurf wagen for 200k??? 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 why!!!
About time!
I knew since the G was California legal it was worth way more than y’all expected
Love the format, and love watching Doug soar. He's truly humble regarding his purchases. Except that G-wagon xD. Not humble AT ALL.
Doug's Kia stinger didn't last long in his garage did it? How long did he keep that thing? Like most stingers it was let down by the brand.
I personally can attest that the black plates in Delaware, the lower the number, the more money they are worth. I think numbers 1-9, maybe 1-20 at the most are reserved for people in the government and the rest, people pay some big bucks for those black plates.
Does Doug know he is Quentin Tarantino"s brother?
Holy crap I KNEW he reminded me of someone. I'll never be able to unsee this
And somehow Jay Leno’s son.
Doug is very frugal 😂 for the money he makes man still conscious and undecisive about everything he buys and has more money than most people combined
that was epic having doug on as well!
Great video!
The best modern American Top Gear lineup would be Doug DeMuro, Ed Bolian, and Tanner Foust.
VINwiki are the type of guys that appraised Doug Demuro's car collection
What a gracious response from Doug!
....didn't know a UT channel pays so well. Hmm
The one that was at my town was a grey one with dark tan color interior was selling for 2 million and had 1700 miles on it
WE NEED DOUG ON THE CHANNEL!
Hahaha love the ending!
I would love to see The Hamilton collection, 458Destroyers collection, David lees collection, or collection1 next!
You guys have got to appraise old Cleatus. That would be hilarious.
I used to have a scale model of a Carrera gt, I don't have it anymore but still good childhood memories
I recognize Doug's Nebraska 15 license plate
Is the guy with the LA cap a relative of Sam Bankman-Fried?
The 3 G500 Cabrios I found for sale in Europe are all €300,000 😳 (~$325,000 USD)
I said to Doug he end up making more money from the source code and API of car and bids than running the website
Adding Doug in there was just full of quirks and features.
Cool video, can you guys appraise DDE’s cars? That should be fun !
You should turn this into a podcast
Hey VinWiki when ru doing MR. JWW’s COLLECTION??
Congrats to Doug!
Have you done an appraisal on Manny's cars yet? If not I think it would be a great collection to look in to
6:53 these make no sense stateside cause our roads are wide and so SUV’s make more sense. In other markets where SUV’s are too expensive for the average family, these tall wagons are much more popular.

Somthing in between always fails? The Subaru Outback is exactly this segment at a much lower price and it the most popular wagon in NA
You guys have to do the fanchracing collection
