Ice Alatreon Vs. Hammer - Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - アルバトリオン ハンマー ソロ【MHWI】

Man do I love Alatreon.
This thing really grew on me. I used to be completely indifferent of Alatreon in the old games, but not all things from World and Iceborne are bad: and Alatreon in the New World is one of the best.
I love Alatreon because it is the only and closest thing we have to an alien in Monster Hunter. Its incredible powers, the eerie and bizarre noises it makes, its appearance and spooky lore ; with rumors that this monster can rest in the depth of an ocean and that it is borderline sentient.
Even something like Nakarkos, that looks even more bizarre, still fits an ecological niche. Alatreon doesn't ; it's just an elusive, destructive force of Nature that could end the world if it wanted to. There's nothing in the series that makes me go "holy shit I slayed a God" more than Alatreon, not even (base) Fatalis.
Its fight is also brillant, there isn't a single thing I dislike about Alatreon in Iceborne, I don't even care about Escaton Judgement when the rest of the fight is of such incredible quality. Wide moveset, clean hitboxes, brillant AoE attacks design, easy to damage about anywhere on its body (which I would normally say is a bad thing, but it is a good thing in Iceborne)
This was a good run, I regret getting hit twice as I love to do no damage runs especially in this game, but I think I played really well overall. Also I turned off damage indicators because someone on the Kulve video actually reminded me that was a thing and I wanted to try it out lol
I'm far from the best Iceborne runner, but I hope you'll enjoy this video regardless.
