@@dthomasfromnc YO playa I got another recommendation. Try sin and punishment star successor for the Wii. It’s a good bullet hell game and it’s ultra rare as well. You’ll love it. Trust me!

My god....what a trip down memory lane. People who didn't live it don't understand....in the 80's, going to the arcade was THE thing to do. Arcades were like Starbucks, today....they were EVERYWHERE. Every mall, for sure, but I remember downtown where I lived, there were 5 arcades within a 4 block area....and they were always all packed. Thanks for that.....that console is definitely on the bucket list. Punch out, Robotron, Asteroids, and Dragon's Lair were iconic games worth showing on the megacade, as well.
You definitely jad to live in that era to truly understand what arcade gaming meant at the time. I appreciate you for watching and glad to hear you enjoyed the video.

Question, how long has it taken from order date to it being shipped out? I ordered my megacade on July 30. Im just curious about wait time. Thank you in advance!
@@chadnixon4236 I ordered mine back in March with an expected completion to be in early December (9 months). So I’ll be receiving mine a little early. At the most I suspect that you’ll get it around that time frame. If you have anymore questions about the delivery time frame, ask David. He has the best customer service I’ve seen in my life lol.

Great video. I've had my megacade almost 4 years and still stumble across lost classics all the time. You hit on most of my faves from the 80s but no 80s classic list can be complete without the mention of Frogger, Space Invaders, and Asteriods.

The 4way is the best way to play PAC MAN and MS. PAC MAN for sure I'm going to invest in getting the megacade pedestal from Extreme Home Arcades

Yo I used to sneak out of church and play these games in Philly at the corner cheesesteaks store, I had Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man down had 2million my high score I had the patterns down. Joust and Gorf and Mr. Do were my games and Qbert. Defender a blast you have to pick up the pods on the bottom...Yo I'm glad you in NC. I'm moving to Orlando, FL, this will be coming to my new HOME!

Yo DThomas! This video really struck a cord with me!!! These are the games I remember playing at the arcade when I was younger! Your selections are some of the best classics! If you do another 80’s arcade classics video I would love to see Q-Bert, Elevator Action, Crazy Climber, Space Invaders, Galaxian, Food Fight, Mario Brothers, Crystal Castle, Millipede, Popeye, and Gauntlet. My favorite part was when you were playing Dig Dug and you said, “I didn’t know the rock can kill you”... LMAO!!! Keep up the good work my man and the MP drive is on the horizon!!! Peace!

There was a pharmacy a few miles from my house that had Double Dragon in the foyer and my friend and I used to ride our bikes down there to play when we could return enough bottles for change. I remember the first time we beat it and you had to fight each other after the final boss fight. He didn't have his hands on the controls because we were so excited. I picked up the bat and went to town. He was so pissed :).

Can't wait for the 90's, so may great games and great memories. Big leaps in technology with the release of Ridge Racer and crowds gathering around the arcade machine in awe. Sad times too towards the end of the 90's when arcades began to die due to the consoles coming out.

My favourites of the 80's are Flying Shark, 1942, Twin Cobra and Truxton among many others. As you can guess, i've a verticle scrolling shootemup fan. My high score for Ms Pacman is 20230 and Pacman is 17890 so, i'm not so good on these games. Great video DThomas!!!! Love them, please keep them coming!!

OK, just figured out Tempest for those wondering... you need to have the Spinner and flip the toggle switch to the left (activates the 3 buttons next to the 4 way JS) also go into P1 game setting under input and select analog, click and spin the spinner!

Great video as always appreciate the content I'm a huge fan of mame and the '80s game. Hopefully my system will be on its way in a couple of months. It definitely needs to be a part two to these games maybe donkey kong Junior. Also you may want to consider doing different genres like only fighting games, puzzlers, platforms things like that but anyway great video thanks these keep me going while I wait.

Joust and tempest all the way !! :) and gauntlet. I have a question for any old school arcade gamers out there. There was game that came out around 82 I belive and it was one where you shot a crossbow at a screen and had to protect your characters from things coming at them and shoot the items. IT was a medieval fantasy one that was very cool to play. Any one remember it and the name of it?
as a kid I. scored over 100k on Ms.Pac-Man ..but as an adult with my own arcade 1up..my high score is 76980...I don't really play regular pac-man....great channel dude...keep up the fun vids

Another sweet video bud! Keep it up. I've got thousands of mame arcade games on my setup, it's really hard to make choices isn't it considering there's thousands of lush games to play. Anyways If you get time, do 90's arcade games next. Definitely the golden age of gaming especially for arcade games lol.

Oh wow, Dig Dug. I was a fucking god at Dig Dug. I could play for over 2hrs on one quarter; over 2 million points. I'd have like 10 extra men along the bottom and would have to quit when I either had to piss or go home. I was also great at Q-bert and Zaxxon. Defender and Stargate I never got the hang of. Had a friend who was fantastic at it and it was amazing to watch him play. Same thing as another friend who was fantastic at Robotron 2084. I sucked at it but he was a god. I would love to have one of these 4 player machines so I could get a long-ass session of Gauntlet or Gauntlet II going; I loved that game!
Do they have Assassins Creed 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 and any GTA games (as far as Classic Console Games) ?
This Megacade is definitely worth the money for an infinite amount of game tied to many people's childhoods. Getting me one for sure 👍

I'm jealous as hell....I've been wanting your setup for a while now. I just haven't pulled the trigger just yet. There is one game i wish yours had, and that is the Mad Dog Mcree series with the light gun. I used to love that game. I though all games were gonna be that real when I was a kid. What's up bro! With our Megacade, we went with 4 player control panel, 2 light guns, 2 wireless Xbox 360 controllers, sensor bar for Wii games and LED lit joysticks/buttons/trackball. The artwork is whatever you want it to be. We went with an Overwatch theme. You'll be looking at a ballpark over $6k+ with shipping. Hope this helps.
Great video, I would love one of these.. but no room for it. Can you play games like Star Wars that use the handles, or Spy hunter that has pedals? I felt like I seen a trackball on it when you were setting it up for games like Major Havoc and whatnot.
Thanks! Yes you can play games like Star Wars. I played it the other day. May feel a bit weird using the joystick to aim. But nevertheless it's still a lot of fun.

Hey DT, So Pac-Man, Dig-Dug ll worked the same as your video... although... Aqua Jet, Offroad challenge, tempest, and Alpine Skier does work with spinner. I know you don't have a spinner..LOLOL!
I was able to gete the games above working.... however, I could not get Tempest to work with my spinner.

Just wondering, when you play a game on the Arcade1up and play the same game on the megacade is there any difference in emulation or game play that is noticeable? Just wondering.
The gameplay seems to be about the same. Great thing about the Megacade version is having access to cheats, screen ratio, access to add scan lines etc. Arcade1up's are cool to have. But that Megacade literally has thousands upon thousands of games.

Maybe you should be able to decide which joystick to use and have the other joystick disabled so you don't accidentally hit it.

I went to the companies website and it looks like you should have Space Dungeon which is super rare and Robotron 2084. Those two games are played with 2 joysticks, 1 to move and one to shoot. Have you tried either game? Just curious how you would play these on your machine.
You can play these games using Player 1 (move) and Player 2 (shoot) joystick.
