hi Jim Fleischmann was always the Rolls-Royce of engines my first ever layout when i was a child was Fleischmann and that's 40 + years ago ahhh happy days well take care and have a good weekend cheers al 🙋♂️👍👍👍😁
My dad has some trains from fleishmann and i use them now and after 30 years 1 of the 2 trains still work fine and smooth. Also bought one from my own monney and some stock.
Awesome sets from Fleischmann Jim!! Unfortunately, the H0 program no longer exists. That is now Roco . Fleischmann unfortunately only makes N gauge models. Cheers Onno.
Just love Fleischmann HO models got six or seven DB steam locos and rolling stock dating from late seventies early eighties. Great shame Fleischmann stopped HO scale they are, I think, the best models ever made.
Wow ... What an amazing find ... I love these Fleischmann loco's ... great detail and amazing runners , if you give them a simple service now and then ... I've got about 8-9 Fleischmann Loco's and looking to keep growing my collection ... Nice Vid ... Keep em coming ... _ Regards, - Anthony [Anthony's Hobby Corner]
I found an ol Fleischmann set once, no box, but the locomotive's motor was irreparably damaged so I had to get another locomotive, could not find the same locomotive 1305 in good enough shape so I settled for a 1309, the gears skip if there are too many wagons, or with a wagon with stiff wheels but it runs fine with wagons that roll easily and is one of the quietest locos I own!
Nice classic train sets there Jim. I have a Fleischmann V60 shunter that I have just put new couplers on and it runs okay with scale speed albeit a wee bit noisy with the pancake motor in it. It can pull 8 wagons with relative ease. I shall be posting a review of it on my channel soon. Just done the Mehano Blue Tiger if those interest you mate. I would recommend one if you don't have one already. I have four of them with various operators. Ash.
Hi Aah, I hope you are well, Yeah some of the old Fleischmann motors can be noisey, I have retro fitted coreless motors in some of my ice trains which are very smooth and powerfull... Not seen the Mehano blue tiger..I will look.....I did have a Mehano GG1 usa flag livery which I converted to dcc sound and sold on it was a very nice loco with two motor all wheel drive...I wished I never sold it now.... Take care Jim.
The Fleischmann V60 (class 360) is not comparable with the train sets we have seen in this video. It is an outdated model like the V100 (class 212). I have got one in the red DB Cargo-livery, it runs smoothly and is anything but noisy. It can move far more than just 8 wagons, more than appropriate to its prototype, allthough it has no traction tyres.
Interesting to see these. Do you have any information when and if Fleischman made a change from 1/80 scale to 1/87. I thought this 1/80 scale lasted from the introduction in 1952 until new releases in the seventies.
As you say mate stunning set. How much would the Fleischmann sets have been back in the day? Are they the more expensive sets? Excuse my stupid question but I'm a complete outsider to model train sets but am getting more interested with every video lol
Hi, you did a video with a Trix cargo sprinter, I have the earlier version 22543 which I tried to fit DCC which didn’t go well, the dummy end the bogie has fallen off and cannot fathom how to keep it held in place, do you have any photos of the dummy end so I can work out how to fix it? Thank you Alan
I hope you, or one of your viewers can help me. I was given FLEISCHMANN HO STEAM LOCO 93 1155B. Engine number 81256. It is still in its box with tender. Its a PRUSSIAN version.. I cannot find any info on this model, when it was produced ect. I have no layout at this time to run it. Any info you can supply would be appreciated. Everything is in GERMAN in the instructions. and searching the net has not turned up any info. It also came with seperate rolling stock, still in boxes.Regards from AUSTRALIA
That motor is nightmare and noisy. Always loudly than your DCC sound. But that old KPEV S6 set (BR 36) is good detail and very cheap with good motor and NEM651 DCC ready. You must keep one for collection. Fleischmann #4898 . You can visit my channel , I have one video about it

Not Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz.😊
Yeah the old stuff is amazing very robust and can be stripped down and rebuilt with no problems normally.
@@mercomania 😁🙋♂️
Fleischmann always made quality, and those are supreme! Nice to see them running! Amazing discoveries you always come up with. Cheers!
Thanks Anthony..I think theae sets are late 1980s early 90s
Old Fleishman Locos with already fitted DCC decoders? Nice find!!!
Yeah I managed to buy a load last year at very cheap prices all retro fitted or factory fitted with quality decoders..
My dad has some trains from fleishmann and i use them now and after 30 years 1 of the 2 trains still work fine and smooth.

Very Good
Stunning Flieschmann quality. The pizza cutter flanges had a bit of trouble going through the double slip switch.
thanks...Yeah some models are a bit iffy in the frogs..

Hi Yeah...Its a shame Fleischmann ho is to be no more ...even worse the profi track is no more to be made..
The solution for the Fleischman Profirail, soon available the transition rail to Trix !!
I love those 0-10-0's
I really like those Prussian sets

@@LarsPW Very true mate. The older models are no match against the more detailed newer releases but they are more robust for newcomers though :).

Hi Sorry I missed this vid,
Yeah these sets were the highest quality , Prob about £250- £300.00 in the day.

Hi the loco is about 20 years old. Have you looked very carefully at the instructions as ther should be a section in u.k .
