I know it probably comes in the package from Tether Tools but personnally I wouldn't put a ballhead overhead like that, its asking for trouble. Geared head every day of the week.

Yeah no they don't make ballheads, Its just what I have at the moment, been looking at the Manfrotto 410, but any suggestions?

@@skylerburtphotos Yeah I've had a 410 for a number of years, would never go back! Also recently picked up a second hand Benro geared head, haven't used it much but it seems great for the price.
