i love the idea that the Black Hole Bomb works exactly the way it does in Smash. imagine seeing some blue guy, he shoots a black hole at you, and you get decimated by several versions of him that should not exist due to the laws of space-time.
One of my favorite things to do in a Classic Mega Man game is to experiment with the Robot Master weapons. While the Charge Shot is great, I like to have variety in my gameplay. My personal favorite weapons in the series are (in no order): Magnet Missile, Pharaoh Shot, Slash Claw, Thunder Claw, and Hornet Chaser.
11’s arsenal proves to be one of the best yet. Block dropper is the best stone weapon, ever. Scramble thunder can be aimed in 4 directions, creates plug balls when it hits a wall, and ANY projectile creates an AOE effect. Chain Blast is like Remote mine and Danger wrap, with its floating ability, and its ability to adhere to enemies, PLUS the power to enhance the explosions when there are multiple bombs on an enemy. Torch man’s weapon(I forget the name) will prove useful in territorial combat, with its diagonal arc going up and down, and it’s ability to pierce shields. This is an arsenal like no other, I have a feeling this will be one of the best arsenals mega man could ever have. Possibly the best yet.
I NEED YOU TO MAKE A REMAKE OF TOP 50 ROBOT MASTERS, WITH BOTH NEW, AND RETURNING COLLABORATORS, FOR THE VIDEO’S TENTH ANNIVERSARY. I SAW THE ORIGINAL AT THE AGE OF NINE. I WOULD BE OVERJOYED.
I feel like Metal Blade should be excluded from this type of list just from the sheer overpowered-ness of it. (But hey, points for it not being number one)
Special Weapons has always been a great mechanic for me. Some of my favorites are the Top Spin from 3 (yes I think the Top Spin is a great Special Weapon!), Pharaoh Shot from 4, the Junk Shield from 7, and every Weapon in 8, & Bass, and 9,
My favorite weapons per game: Mega Man 1: Fire Storm Mega Man 2: Quick Boomerang Mega Man 3: Magnet Missile Mega Man 4: Pharaoh Shot Mega Man 5: Gravity Hold Mega Man 6: Silver Tomahawk Mega Man 7: Junk Shield Mega Man 8: Thunder Claw Mega Man 9: Black Hole Bomb Mega Man 10: Solar Blaze Mega Man 11: Acid Barrier Mega Man Killers: Ballade Cracker Stardroids: Spark Chaser
How About Best Weapons in Each Games for me: MM1: Fire Storm MM2: Metal Blade MM3: Magnet Missile MM4: Pharaoh Shot MM5: Napalm Bomb MM6: Knight Crusher MMV: Electric Shock MM7: Slash Claw MM8: Flame Sword MM&B: Tengu Blade MM9: Black Hole Bomb MM10: Commando Bomb MM11: Scramble Thunder MMGB: Ballade Cracker
Laser Trident is also a great weapon in 9, It does the MOST damage in the game and it can be used 52 times cause the weapon energy doesn't use up so quick
Ice slasher is underrated. It isnt just situational because even tho it doesnt do damage, the freeze effect stays even if you switch the weapons. You can Literally freeze an enemy, switch for thunder beam and kill it. This weapon saved my ass so many times. My absolutely favorite from megaman 1
I did the math. The power in Joules needed to create a singularity like this (assuming a Schwarzschild radius of 4 feet) is around 8e43 Joules. That’s .8 Foe, or 4/5 the power output of a supernova. And this is just Classic Mega Man, don’t even get me started on X or Starforce
"The Metal Blade's power and efficiency border on downright broken" What do you mean "border on"? (I mean sure, aside from the fact that they don't hurt Quickman, Mecha Dragon, The Boobeam Trap and the Alien Hologram, they rip the game a new one. And then rip that new one *another* new one. It's that broken.)
Heat Man, Picopico-kun, and both phases of the Wily Machile all take only one point of damage from it on Difficult Mode. Besides the others you mentioned, Air Man and Crash Man are also both immune to it.
It is overpowered and destroys the purpose of a mega man game. There's no point in playing the game if there is no challenge. This, along with the Metal Blade, are bad because they kill basically everything in Mega Man 2 and essentially is a free win. Balance is necessary for making a good weapon.
Oh my God I haven't seen a vid from you in forever I thought you actually quit for a while but I'm super happy you didn't And on that note wtf TH-cam no notifications?I've missed like 6 months worth of videos!
Might be the only person but why did I think QuaterGuy was going to make a Mobile Fighters G Gundam reference at 8:00 - 8:03 I was expecting him to yell "WITH THE HELP OF KYOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" like Domon during the Mummy Gundam vs Dragon Gundam fight-
Uhhhhh, am I the only one who noticed the Jet Set Radio Future clip in the preview for his next countdown? I’m surprised that QG even knew of, let alone played, Jet Set Radio Future.
I will comment on each entry of this list, to compare it with my opinion. Tornado Hold: A problem with platforming based weapons that I have is that outside using them for platforming, and as weaknesses for bosses, they are usually not that useful. The tornado hold is one of the better ones, since it can hit enemies fairly high, but it is nothing spectacular. My favorite weapon in 8 is probably the Snipe Missile, since it is a better version of the dive missile if you ask to me. The Flash Bomb was into consideration, but it overshadows some of the weapons, and I don't like when weapons do that (foreshadowing for when I'll talk about the Metal Blade). Silver Tomahawk: This weapon is really good, I agree. I do prefer the Knight Crusher which has a perfect angle to hit most enemies in the game, and maybe even the flame blast for how much damage it deals, but I won't blame you at all for putting this perfectly good weapon instead. Magnet Missile: Very good weapon. I mean what is wrong with homing weapons? That being said, I would have put the Shadow Blade instead, but I guess it would have made the list too repetitive because of the Metal Blade that would be on the list later. That being said, I prefer the Shadow Blade over the Metal Blade, because it is the same thing but weaker, and therefore balanced, which is a good thing. Junk Shield: I love Shield weapons! How much do I love them? I actually love the Skull Barrier! The NES shield weapons are pretty underrated in the way they can be used. So imagine how much I like the post NES shield weapons, which are overall much better! And the Junk Shield is no exception. In fact, it might be a bit broken, since the Junk particles deals a lot of damage when combined, which might be a bit broken. Because of that, the honor of my favorite Megaman 7 weapon might go to the Slash Claw, and close range weapon that deals a lot of damage, which can be very useful. That being said, if you don't care about balance, Junk Shield is the strongest. Fire Storm: What is funny, is that the fire storm is indeed my favorite weapon in Megaman 1, but we have a lot of different opinions about the weapons in that game. In short, I love the Ice Slasher, I don't care about the Rolling Cutter, and knowing that in this list it doesn't seem that a weapon being balance is important to you, the Elec Beam should have been here instead. However, it is not my favorite, because a weapon with relatively low ammo usgaethat goes in most directions, is a bit broken. Pharaoh Shot: Yes it is pretty badass. I do prefer the Flash Stopper though, which can do everything, but is still balanced due to its high ammo usage. Plus stopping time is cool. Except when it's with the Time Stopper of course. Triple Blade: This weapon is very powerful I agree. But again, it is a bit unbalanced, therefore I prefer the water shield, which is a more balanced version of the Junk Shield. Grab Buster: I wonder why you didn't put the Spark Chaser or Ballade's weapon, which are pretty OP, but the Grab Buster is my favorite of the Gameboy weapons so I won't complain. It's a shot that give you free energy! That is really cool, and really unique. Metal Blade: I respect the fact that you put the most broken weapon in the franchise, because you at least have a consistent opinion. Nothing prevented you to put the Junk Shield, and Triple Blade on the list, so you might as well put this monster of a weapon here. However, this is where it is interesting: despite the Metal Blade being broken, it might still be my favorite weapon in the game. That's because the rest of Megaman 2's weapon are usable at best, and super useless and boring at worst. Easily the worst weapon selection in the classic series, and even if you include X games, it is only outdone by X6, and X7, the only two truly bad games in the franchise (aside maybe 2 on Gameboy). Black Hole Bomb: This weapon is absolutely amazing... but Megaman 9 has one of the best weapon selection in the franchise so therefore I prefer the Hornet Chaser, which is charming, and a homing weapon with cool features. Although, if you didn't want to have two homing weapons on your list, the black hole bomb is a really good choice, and I don't judge you for preferring it over the hornert chaser. If I made my own list, just take the weapons I said I prefer over the choice you made, and keep those that I am in agreement on. However, take out the Metal Blade, and the Snipe Missile in order to leave room for Gyro Attack from Megaman 5, a very good weapon that you can change the trajectory to reach high or low places, and more importantly, my favorite weapon in the whole franchise, the ice wall from Megaman And Bass. Megaman and Bass has an excellent weapon selection and I was surprised that none of them were in the list, since along Megaman 4, 9, and 11 which didn't came out yet, it is one of the best selection in the series, with the Ice Wall being my favorite. Remember what I said about platforming based weapons being generally lacking when it is time to fight enemies? This does not apply to the ice wall, which is not really an excellent platforming tool for reaching high places, and crossing pools of spikes, but is also excellent to defeat enemies, since it deals quite a lot of damage when you drop it on enemies, is useful to crush enemies in lower places, bulldoze everything on front of you, and more. Possibilities are almost endless with this weapon. People often choose Frost Man as their first robot master, because he is the easiest boss in a game that is wildly considered too hard. I disagree that Megaman and Bass is too hard, but I too start with Cold Man, but only to experience this wonderful weapon as long as possible. Also with Megaman 11 now being out, I would have probably took out the Fire Storm for Fuse Man's weapon, which is an amazing weapon that hits everything on the walls and ceiling, and can even go through shields.
I love your videos and look forward to seeing them when they come out. If it’s not too much trouble or too personal, may I ask what’s with the lisp? It seems to be becoming more noticeable or it’s just for this video. If this, offends you, I’m sorry, I was just curious.
I Would Put Mega Man And Bass Weapons Here Instead Because They are Very Powerful like Remote Mine and Spread Drill are Both Useful but In My Opinion Tengu Blade is Fun to Use
I feel I should mention this: Didn't Omega Snake refer to Metal Man's weakness to his own weapon as iron-y? (gets looks) Hey, don't look at me because you steel yourself for that pun! I like to zinc it was pure gold, so don't you dare call the coppers!
I'd have to disagree with MM9 easily having the best weapon roster. While I think it is indeed the best roster, Mega Man 4 comes surprisingly close. There are no useless weapons there either.
i love the idea that the Black Hole Bomb works exactly the way it does in Smash. imagine seeing some blue guy, he shoots a black hole at you, and you get decimated by several versions of him that should not exist due to the laws of space-time.
Clicked on this vid faster than metal man being defeated by the metal blade.
ONE PUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But not quite as fast as pump man with the metal blade
On Normal Mode.
What about as fast as Airman being defeated by the Leaf Shield?
OVERSURGE AZURE STRIKER
10:24 Don't think I didn't see that Fourze reference, QG.
I'm proud of you.

Uchu kita indeed
I'm just waiting for the inevitable follow up
Top 10 worst
Top spin
@Brayden Enright I just can't use it. I either take damage or my weapon energy just randomly plummets. It is useful against the final boss, though.
It’s been a year, but it’s here-
I'm from the future he did make that video
BOOM ZARIME
10:43 - 10:50
Will you ever quit it with the Jojokes, Adam?
....because I hope you don't.
Especially not with Part 5 in a month/month and a half, and I can't fucking wait to be part of the JoJo memefest, for once.
Noah M. Schneider i can't wait for jojokes to return
I was hoping his reply would be: No! No! No! No! No!
WRYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
Finally someone acknowledged the gameboy games
"Top 10 *_FUCK YEAH_* Video Game Themes"?
Now _THERE'S_ my type of countdown!
Sees Number 1:
No wonder it was half of his Final Smash.
Oh yeah charge shot!
The Hornet Chaser is better
Perfect video to watch at a time when I'm going through both the Classic and X Legacy Collections

My fave MM weapons
1. Pharaoh Shot
2. Metal Blade
3. Thunder Beam
6:44 The Fire Storm is an AWESOME weapon!
11’s arsenal proves to be one of the best yet. Block dropper is the best stone weapon, ever. The 1 weapon per game restriction helps Megaman 9 to not STEAL the top.
In conclusion: Who the fuck uses the Mega Buster on MeGAMAN 9?!
9:43
me: ooo boy will it be the remote mine? Or maybe the ice wall? I cant wait! lets see!
oh ok then
Well, whenever he shows the upcoming number on the list, he puts a silhouette of the weapon that screen
8:00 YOU DIDN’T JUST

It's Knight Crush
I NEED YOU TO MAKE A REMAKE OF TOP 50 ROBOT MASTERS, WITH BOTH NEW, AND RETURNING COLLABORATORS, FOR THE VIDEO’S TENTH ANNIVERSARY. I SAW THE ORIGINAL AT THE AGE OF NINE. I WOULD BE OVERJOYED.
I feel like Metal Blade should be excluded from this type of list just from the sheer overpowered-ness of it.
(But hey, points for it not being number one)
Then Again, It's Kinda Hard To Beat A Small Bomb That Turns Into A Black Hole, Which BTW *CAN'T HARM U!!!*
Special Weapons has always been a great mechanic for me. Some of my favorites are the Top Spin from 3 (yes I think the Top Spin is a great Special Weapon!), Pharaoh Shot from 4, the Junk Shield from 7, and every Weapon in 8, & Bass, and 9,
The special weapons in 8 suck in my opinion because the damage is either the same or lower than the mega buster
Grenade man weapon is cool thoufh
@@theminebloxcraft5779 let me guess: you watch nico evaluates?
In My Opinion Flame Sword, Knight Crusher, Slash Claw and Electric Shock are the Best Weapons
There great and all but I think the Hornet chaser is better
My favorite weapons per game:
Mega Man 1: Fire Storm
Mega Man 2: Quick Boomerang
Mega Man 3: Magnet Missile
Mega Man 4: Pharaoh Shot
Mega Man 5: Gravity Hold
Mega Man 6: Silver Tomahawk
Mega Man 7: Junk Shield
Mega Man 8: Thunder Claw
Mega Man 9: Black Hole Bomb
Mega Man 10: Solar Blaze
Mega Man 11: Acid Barrier
Mega Man Killers: Ballade Cracker
Stardroids: Spark Chaser
Couldn't agree with you more QG the black hole bomb is just down right awesome!
ANCIENT EGYPT! *march of the empire plays*
How About Best Weapons in Each Games for me:
MM1: Fire Storm
MM2: Metal Blade
MM3: Magnet Missile
MM4: Pharaoh Shot
MM5: Napalm Bomb
MM6: Knight Crusher
MMV: Electric Shock
MM7: Slash Claw
MM8: Flame Sword
MM&B: Tengu Blade
MM9: Black Hole Bomb
MM10: Commando Bomb
MM11: Scramble Thunder
MMGB: Ballade Cracker
I love that burn at number 1.
“It attacc, it protecc, but either way: it wrecc.” -Quarter guy
My best weapons
MM1:Fire storm
MM2: Metal blade
MM3:Magnet missle
MM4:pharoh shot
MM5:crystal eye
MM6:Yamato spear
MM7: scorch wheel
MM8:Astro crush
MM9 lazer trident
MM10:Solar blaze
MM11:bounce ball
Laser Trident is also a great weapon in 9, It does the MOST damage in the game and it can be used 52 times cause the weapon energy doesn't use up so quick
It became my main weapon in 9 and that's why I always go after Splash Woman first. That and also because she takes double damage from the buster.
Me: My Favourite Robot Master Is Galaxy Man
Me: (Sees Black Hole Bomb As Number 1)
Me: LET'S GOOOO GALAXY MAN
You referenced Kamen Rider Fourze, you have my respect.
Please do a top 10 worst robot master weapons next
Wish granted.
The rolling cutter for Mega Man I
If only this list came out after smash ultimate, you could have used Metal Man’s sick*** remix in that game for his weapon section on this list.
My favorite is the Ballade Cracker from Mega Man IV GB and Mega Man 10
Is it a bad thing that I typically refer to the junk shield as the Garbage Magnet?
10:49)
And cue Jonathan yelling, "DIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
HOLY FUCK I JUST REALIZED BLACK HOLE BOMB IS MEGA MAN'S FINAL SMASH
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH HOW COULD I MISSED THAT!!!!
Top 10 video game themes.... "You will know ours names" better be on there! LOL XD
Galaxy Man was actually the first Robot Master i beat in Mega Man 9, and i agree the black hole bomb rocks!
Me to
I love the Gravity hold due to its strength, name and overall being strong due to sending enemies into the sky and flinging em all over.
Been a fan of your content since 2014 and still am today! Keep it up, QG!
10:46 piccolo: how-how many people?
MegaMan: ....enough.
Gotta love the TFS reference :3
"The Metal Blade's power and efficiency border on downright broken"
What do you mean "border on"? (I mean sure, aside from the fact that they don't hurt Quickman, Mecha Dragon, The Boobeam Trap and the Alien Hologram, they rip the game a new one. And then rip that new one *another* new one. It's that broken.)
Heat Man, Picopico-kun, and both phases of the Wily Machile all take only one point of damage from it on Difficult Mode.
Besides the others you mentioned, Air Man and Crash Man are also both immune to it.
Let me guess, you were about to play a certain sith lord's theme over some pyramids?
My favorite megaman weapon is Quick Boomerang. It's strong, has lots of ammo and it kills everything!
It is overpowered and destroys the purpose of a mega man game. There's no point in playing the game if there is no challenge. This, along with the Metal Blade, are bad because they kill basically everything in Mega Man 2 and essentially is a free win. Balance is necessary for making a good weapon.
Pulling out the JoJo references. I like it.
Metal Blade was just that good
The Bounce ball is easily my favorite weapon from Megaman 11
It's about time you do this QG, the wait is finally over
This is why I don't watch favorite Mega Man Weapons list. The fucking Metal Blade always gets placed at the top and it's so damn predictable
Haven't watched your stuff in a long time, but I definitely like your new format and unchanging wit. Have my two cents to your twenty-five :D
Oh my God I haven't seen a vid from you in forever I thought you actually quit for a while but I'm super happy you didn't
And on that note wtf TH-cam no notifications?I've missed like 6 months worth of videos!
10:43 *after finally watching jojo*
OH MY GOOOOOOD! I FINALLY UNDERSTAND!
The vampiric nature of the Grab buster is why I class Mercury as an undead type
Tomahawk Man is awesome!! I'm glad his weapon made it on this list!!
10:22 was that a kamen rider fourze reference?
Andrew Viewtieful Tachibana yes.yes it is
freaking awesome
Kisaragi will be proud
Might be the only person but why did I think QuaterGuy was going to make a Mobile Fighters G Gundam reference at 8:00 - 8:03
I was expecting him to yell "WITH THE HELP OF KYOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" like Domon during the Mummy Gundam vs Dragon Gundam fight-
Ya think you could do a top ten fangame robot masters and their weapons?
I never use firestorm maybe I should lol but thunder beam is great
This is the guy they’re talking about in that tik tok meme
he is coming back in mega man maker
I guess all that's missing from the top pick is ol' Megs saying "Ciao" when he fires it.
Ice slasher can be used to freeze enemies and works even after you swap back to your other weapons, which is much more useful than you gave credit.
Nˀeˀwˀ lˀiˀsˀtˀ
MM1:firestorm
MM2:Quick boomerang
MM3:magnet missile
MM4:drill bomb
MM5:crystal eye
MM6:centaur flash
MM7:Junk shield
MM8:Astro crush
MM9:laser trident
MM10:commando bomb
MM11:Tundera storm
8:04 no worries, i'll complete the sentence.
ANCIENT EGYPT!
(imperial march plays)
Damn that title for the next countdown cracked me up. Fuck yeah indeed!
Totally agree with Number 1, I love using that to suck up Wily's Shots in Megaman 9
Your speech impediment has definitely improved over the last year, good work on you man, I love these videos!
heck yeah a mega man video
Nice Fourze reference with the Grab Buster.
I can’t wait for your next video man keep up the good work
nice jock

I highly approve of the use of the Blazing Internet song.
id really love a weapon that's like the flame sword and the fire shield all at once, that would be awesome
I probably won't get MMXI, but I can't wait to see RoahmMythril play it.
Woah, hold on, you watch Kamen Rider!? Oh, HECK YEAH!!!(I'm a big-time fan of Kamen Rider, with Fourze being the show I started with).
Loved the near linkara reference
I Would Put Mega Man And Bass Weapons Here Instead Because They are Very Powerful like Remote Mine and Spread Drill are Both Useful but In My Opinion Tengu Blade is Fun to Use
I feel I should mention this: Didn't Omega Snake refer to Metal Man's weakness to his own weapon as iron-y?
