Yeah Joji has been around for a while as a youtuber and then an artist, but I believe this album is definitely one of his best works since he's gained alot of control over his voice and the songs on this album are more focused while his past albums have been a bit messy (as in they were sorta all over the place, like he was still testing out what fit him)
I didn't even realize that Joji's lyrics were so cryptic. I haven't really been paying attention to them. The reason I listen to him is that I wanted a more relaxed artist......lol. Can't be listening to twenty-one pilots and NF 24/7.

As if the machine is screeching to a halt after being turned off.
You really need to react to Jorja Smith's albulm Lost and Found, it came out in 2018 but it is just a beautiful albulm and Jorja's voice and vocal delivery is beyond amazing!as well as her songwriting

I’ve heard of him before this, but i first gave him a chance with this album. I really didn’t enjoy it at first and I only likes about 6 songs. But now I enjoy pretty much every song on the album except for High Hopes, Normal People, Reanimator, and Like You Do.
Dope analysis. However the structure where you pause and rant for like a whole minute and then continue gets really annoying throughout the video. If I could give constructive criticism it would probably be better to just put it after the end of the songs

Not everyone is going to remember if they have 20+ different things to say after hearing one lyric. Most people would even forget how a certain lyric is actually said just seconds after hearing it and would require to listen to the song 2-3 more times. Now considering this is his Job and the demand for it was probably high, with a short amount of time given to edit/shoot video prior to the album’s release, i think he did a great job breaking down and reviewing the lyric AS HE SHOULD be doing.
