God, that’s awful. I’m so sorry. It’s a sad truth that most pedophiles prey on people close to them, and I can’t imagine how it must feel to be a sibling or parent to a child that was abused by someone they should have been able to trust. Just heartbreaking.
My grandfather was my favorite person and he ended up being an abuser. Learning someone you loved so much is so awful is a mixture of feelings that no one should have to face. You have the regular grief that goes with losing someone, as well as anger towards them, anger towards yourself for not realizing sooner, immense guilt, and almost every other negative emotion. I am so sorry you had to go through that trauma and I wish all the happiness and healing to you and your siblings.
You don't have to feel guilt for anything, no-one expects you to forget your own experiences. To believe your siblings is the only important thing, they need you to know the truth... but they don't need you to feel guilty.

@@logic1515that comparison isn't 1:1, on Amazon they don't have access to your credit card number, it's just already tied to the account. A child going through their parents wallet and pulling out a card is a much different thing entirely I feel. Where is the blame for the platform?
I mean, seriously?! I thought this was a meme. What parents are dumb enough to do that? Are people in the habit of removing their cards from their wallets and leaving em around the house or something? Like, I get the "saved payment method" on sites like Amazon, that makes sense, but that "saved card" function doesn't work on other websites, unless you have the CV code as well, which most kids don't even know what that is!
@@SeanWinters Apparently some parents actually get a card specifically for their kid, like oh if you need toys or tech or online stuff this one is yours and they put money on it and keep it logged in on the kids iPad computer phone whatever. But either parents are clueless idiots or they just let their kids pay for things without needing to say yes or no
The question that should have been asked is, WHY would a grown woman pretend to a grown man that she is 14 y.o? What would someone gain from that? His excuse is so dumb
I have heard of instances of women doing that because some men don't know the concept of 'no' or send incredibly inappropriate things. But in any scenario he was stupid. If someone says they are underage, just like, stop talking to that person, don't ruin several lives at once because you have a fucked up mind or think that you know better
It's ALWAYS the man's fault... Women pretend to be older/younger all of the time. Women are disgusting and will lie about anything to trap a man into doing what they want them to do. It's always on the man to refuse, never on the woman for self-accountability. Here is a fun story, I was 19 and had a 14 year old lie about her age after friends of the family also lied about her age, and got her into a bar because they were performing that night. We were actually going to go on a date, and she was telling me how she wanted to suck my cock, wanted to swallow my cum, etc etc. I was under the impression she was 17 (which is legal) because that's what 5 PEOPLE TOLD ME... and she was very well developed for her age. I had never seen a 14 year old that had D tits, and could be in a bar. That said, we never did anything because I was "saving myself for marriage" like a loser. Which ended up changing after I met my gf a year later... but me being a loser absolutely saved my ass and kept me off a registery.
“2 words; role-playing chatroom, dude” - 🧢👕 but yah, it’s one of the grossest kinks, pretending to be a kid, but at the same time if it keeps paedos from going after kids…
Unfortunately you can tell his dad is a real narcissist, doesn’t want to admit he did anything wrong because he doesn’t believe he did anything wrong but is well aware that others consider what he did to be abhorrent and repulsive. He was likely good at manipulating his son into thinking he was a better person than he actually is, so for his son to see the real him it’s life altering in a way
I agree with Idaho. I have a friend who was abused by her grandfather for years and after 30 years is still dealing with the trauma. SA steals parts of soul and it keeps coming back to you.
The reason I DONT agree with it, is there are zero programs for people who want therapy getting out of that mindset. I have seen quite a few people who have those attractions talk about how there is literally nothing they can do but just try and ignore that part of themselves because there's is zero support from people for them to improve, and there are no programs or groups like AA for anyone to seek help. When you consider that a lot of them are victims of SA themselves as a child, it just creates a system where people who are mentally askew have two options, hide it or die. I just feel like there should be more options for them than that. One of the biggest issues nobody talks about is how boys who are victims of SA are never taken seriously, and their trauma over it festers until they become one too. I feel it's more complicated than people want to admit
She said I’m 14 and he was like nahh you silly liar and didn’t believe her. If a woman said no he’d be like well obviously you’re meaning a different kind of no and you want this

@cosmiccatnip5406 There is someone posing as a dealer claiming they have drugs for sale. Suspect goes to the "dealer's" location only to find he gets arrested instead. What part am I missing, exactly?
@@briancoyle9379what ur missing is that they typically aren’t just getting people to come buy from their local dealer they are big drug busts usually where there are gang involved so they use real drugs a lot of the time so they don’t risk the buyer figuring it out a lot of the pred sting operations don’t end with the person being charged with anything serious because when it comes to cases like this police already have to be incredibly careful to not cross the line to make it entrapment and a lot of these stings don’t use the same caution

People often don't realize that firefighters actually spend little time fighting fires and a LOT of time talking to/educating the public. That includes educating children, often in schools. I can only imagine how hard it would be for a child to speak out when their perpetrator is someone like a police officer or firefighter, who are in a position of authority/respect.
I do just wanna say, due to people I knew including my sister, they indeed do send you back if you're even a minute late. If you miss a PO appointment or are late, you go back, basically if ANY of the things you're supposed to do aren't done, you go back. Same with mandatory therapy.
honestly I feel the pain that son is feeling. as soon as I reached 18+ I realised how unbelivably cruel horrible and manipulative my father was, I have been seeing him as a hero all my life. I feel you there. when his true colors came out I don't recognise him anymore.
Same here. I was a grandpa's girl growing up. I looked up to him and loved spending time with him. Later in life I found out that he had CP on his desktop. Completely ruined everything. I hope he's able to heal.
Not involving cp or the like, but I'm going through something similar with my dad. I've checked out years ago. It's sad, but I don't have hope that they're going to change, and I'm tired of being disappointed.
no cp or anything even close to that but i wish i could feel this way about my dad. i still love him to death and my first instinct is to defend him even though i know he doesnt deserve it.
As awful as this was for the son, it's good that he has finally accepted that about his dad, especially if he has children. I would hate for him to re-let his dad into his life and then him do something to one of his children in 10 years.
Even if he never did anything to them, if they grow up and learn what he did, there’s a good chance they would be angry at their dad for risking their safety for a relationship with a predator. It’s growing up and learning your parents went along with hanging you off the edge of a balcony cause family insisted. You didn’t get hurt, but you’re mad at the people who never should have taken that risk. There is no good reason to accept a pred around kids
8:10 i used to work at a call center and that's absolute bull. An old lady called and she sounded like she was 14. I asked for her parents as per procedure and she told me they were both dead. She was 62 years old and passed me to her husband. Absolute bull that you can tell what age someone is based on their voice.
I agree I’m in my mid 20’s but I sound much younger and often times when I call I sound like a teen, and the person on the other side treats me as a kid. Sometimes it’s awful as at times when I call a doctor or store they kinda rude to me due to my voice and need my parents on the phone, it bit embarrassing. Also it doesn’t help I look younger too, as I often have to give ID at bars or when I buy things and at times had the manager get called in and one time a cop as they think due to my voice and appearance my id fake.
When I was a young adult living on my own, I had someone call, telemarketer I think and when I answered, the woman asked "Can I talk to your mommy or daddy?". My response, "You can if you call them at their house". She was so embarrassed when she found out I was an adult, she quickly hung up. When I worked in customer service calling someone back, I never asked someone who answered if I could talk to their "mommy" or "daddy". If it sounds like a kid, I talked to them like they were an adult and ask for the name of the person I was asking for. It was out of respect for kids, not just in case I was actually speaking to an adult.
My friend & I (both adults) were in a hotel together at the beach, and my friend had called the front desk to ask for something. The front desk then called us right back for some reason, but I answered the phone instead of her. The lady at the front desk asked me if I could put my mom back on the phone 😂

My only issue with the death penalty for these kind of crimes is it has a risk of increasing the rate of homicide of these children since those people definitely wont want to be caught
It also increases chances of a witch hunt. We gotta fix police and how investigations are done before we enact this. But hey, once it's fixed, game on.
My issue with it is that children can be labeled as offenders for being with other minors or for taking a picture of themselves...so I'd be worried about them getting the death penalty
@@ethanporto1745 That’s a false equivalence, and a misrepresentation of the original point. Your statement was equating destroying a family to a victimless crime. A more accurate comparison would be something similar to a person driving through a crowd of people (main crime), with a stolen vehicle (a lesser but still serious crime). The whole point of the original comment was that it further proves intent to ruin lives and break the law by disregarding the social contract of loyalty/fidelity in matrimony.

He looks like a Corrections Officer. Also, even the worst lawyers do not tell you to plead no contest because it’s actually the worst option you have. Functionally “no contest” is the same thing as pleading guilty. The reason that it’s worse than pleading guilty is that it bears the same legal consequence with the exception that you are not accepting accountability. The judge sees that you are being unwilling to participate in accepting what you did wrong and there is a greater likelihood that you will receive the full sentence because you are not showing willingness to be remorseful and accepting that you did something wrong. Pleading no contest carries the same consequence as pleading guilty so if you are going to do that, you may as well plead guilty and ask for forgiveness so you have a better chance of getting a lighter sentence.
When you plead no contest you most of the time already made a deal with the judge to receive a 'better' sentence. People don't to it out of nowhere for no reason, unless their lawyers just hate their guts lol. Asking for forgiveness has worked in like... almost 0 cases(when 'almost diddling kids' is the crime). Better no contest if you are innocent. With these guys... it's different, since they're on caught tape.
This is very, very wrong. No Contest pleas are not admissions, so they can't be used as admissions in separate civil lawsuits or other legal proceedings. No Contest pleas are legally saying that you are not admitting to the charges, but that you think that you might do worse if sentenced after trial should you lose, which might happen even if you didn't do it. What the guy in the video says is pretty true; it's very hard to get a fair trial with those charges. I'm not saying he didn't do it, but in my practice, I have seen how hard it is for a jury to take someone seriously after hearing those charges read. Going to trial is a huge risk. That's not legal advice, btw.
A friend of mine brought up the point that survivors of being nonced disliked the death penalty as it then increases the chance the victim could be killed to cover up the crimes
I wish I could send this to someone I once knew. He looked very similar to this man here and did much worse, but received no consequences. He has a wife and two kids. It's so disgusting that they get away with it sometimes.

You have the regular grief that goes with losing someone, as well as anger towards them, anger towards yourself for not realizing sooner, immense guilt, and almost every other negative emotion. I am so sorry you had to go through that trauma and I wish all the happiness and healing to you and your siblings.
I'm sorry to anyone who's had to endure anything of the sort, my prayers to you all
the worst part about betrayal, is it never comes from your enemies
You don't have to feel guilt for anything, no-one expects you to forget your own experiences. To believe your siblings is the only important thing, they need you to know the truth... but they don't need you to feel guilty.
I’m a frequent Steve Wilkos watcher! Steve once said that he will never give somebody accused of doing something to a child a chair because they don’t deserve to sit and be comfortable
This dude was convicted so he deserves it all
👏👏👏👏Steve Wilkos baby
He also believes women hitting men is okay, but men defending themselves is not.
Key word: accused
For the people who don’t have common sense, reread the Steve quote in the original comment. Steve and I are talking about people in general, not someone that already pled guilty and not the guy in the video
@@Mster_J key phrase: "he pled guilty"
He said the credit card proves he’s an adult going into an adult chat room as if children across America don’t know how to use their parents credit cards from the Roblox plague
Right?! I had to disconnect my cards from my Amazon account 'cause small kids with tablets.
“The Roblox plague” 😂😂 amazing, i agree
That question is often asked to these piles. Almost invariably the answer is "I thought we were role playing."
“2 words; role-playing chatroom, dude” - 🧢👕
but yah, it’s one of the grossest kinks, pretending to be a kid, but at the same time if it keeps paedos from going after kids…
I've told men on the Internet I was 15 just so they would leave me alone. But I guess in this case that won't work 😅

Unfortunately you can tell his dad is a real narcissist, doesn’t want to admit he did anything wrong because he doesn’t believe he did anything wrong but is well aware that others consider what he did to be abhorrent and repulsive. He was likely good at manipulating his son into thinking he was a better person than he actually is, so for his son to see the real him it’s life altering in a way
the son was ready to forgive everything over a polygraph(lie detector) 😂😂😂 dont feel sorry for him he is as stupid as the father

I agree with Idaho. I have a friend who was abused by her grandfather for years and after 30 years is still dealing with the trauma. SA steals parts of soul and it keeps coming back to you.
This law encourages homicide lol

Same with mandatory therapy.
the poor poor son. the despair in his eyes breaks my heart.

I appreciate you guys touching on the fb profile pics had 2 chuckle remembering all those ridiculous "duck" faces from myspace 🤣
Predators should at least serve life in prison, without being separated from other inmates for protection too.

You probably made her very happy lol
“This person on the phone REFUSED to believe I was an adult!”
I was 16 and people thought I was 30+ due to my beard and voice, you definitely can't tell age by voice.

Good point.

Bro how is her lying to you less likely than her lying to the website😂
I feel so bad for the family and the son. The heaviness of a very serious situation.
