what I love about Korean street food, is that a lot of is actually rooted in the poverty of both the Japanese accupation and the difficult time of the reconstruction after the Korean war. it came from resourcefulness in trying to make the best of very basic ingrediates. yet, even now after Korea has advanced so much, and has become so much wealthier- the street food is king, it presists and endures because it continues to fit the fast lifestyle of Korea today, and it's also a great reminder to the younger people of Korea how little their parents and grandparents had.

Especially their Crazy Prices for fruits. You can buy a melon for $150 or $200 that's just crazy. And strawberries that are white with red seeds.
uhm, nope :D You should not try street food in Ukraine, except a market one, otherwise you can be poisoned (lack of sanitary and food storage standards)
I am korean. Some koreans are really defensive about being mistaken for chinese or japanese. But i think we koreans should understand that for someone who is not north-east-asian, it can be difficult to distinguish the difference of korean.japanese.chinese culture. Just like it is difficult to distinguish arabian music and indian music. Anyway I really enjoyed this video and didn't care about music.
Music is universal...don’t worry about it! If viewers can’t figure things out from the title then it’s out of your hands. Nice video! Keep them coming and let your personalities shine!
Luke and Sabrina! Great video there in Seoul, South Korea. I love these street food tours so much. I really like getting the experience from two perspectives. You two are great! I look forward to more Korean Food videos.
Professional? An American-stereotyped perceived Chinese music as background music for Korean street food? He once used a Japanese enka as a BGM while presenting Taiwan's Chang Kai Sek Memorial Hall. When I asked him why, he said because he liked it (the music). Taiwanese don't mind because they take Japanese invasion and occupation as an honour. However, see what will happen if he plays Japanese music when he introduces the street food of Nanking, China.
Oh, yes. I suggest you play 'Shina No Yoru" when you show China's street food or interesting tourist spots. th-cam.com/video/S2sPPbxNj34/w-d-xo.html。 See how the Chinese viewers all over the world except the Taiwanese, the Chinese media and the Chinese immigration will react. Tell them because you like the music.
I know many will defend and argue but wait till he steps on a minefield. I call this frivolous attitude of an inexperienced young man who chooses to be insensitive and callous to other's culture. One day, he will step on a racial or religious minefield. Beautiful words are truthful and truthful words are not pleasing to the ears.
Yeah, but it is misrepresentation. You shouldn't dismiss things like this. The West continue to be ignorant about the culture and practices of Asian people and sometimes disrespect it because they are not reprimanded and educated about it.

Korea is basically sub-China as a fact that they were sovereign state of China before 1910. Everything was written in Chinese, most culture was straightly passed from China without any change. So this is not wrong.
