About IDICBeer 40k - NECRONS and More
My Channel is all about Warhammer 40,000 and is mainly a Necron Channel. The content on it will include 40k Battle Reports, Army Lists, Conversions, Magnetising tutorials, Painting tutorials, 40k Tactics and lots of General Hobby Tips. I have been into the hobby since 2002 and my first and largest army is Necrons and I cover all things Necrons, including Necron tactics and Tips. I also have an Eldar army, Dark Eldar army, a Tyranid army and a Space Wolves army. I'm also working on a new Slaanesh based Emperor's Children army, but that is on hold atm, but I will get to it one day! I upload videos every week.

Ty glad you enjoyed the game yeah it was tight learnt a bit and as always Nick is obdurate so I know it’s always a tough game the fact it’s so low scoring shows how tough it was map mission and mission rules played a part into that but if that was round 1 of a tourney I’d take that
I believe you forgot that the acenthrites have the melta2 rule. It looked like you were in range for the rule to go off. Those ones actually took the character out.
Well, I didn't forget it, but for some reason (probably from past editions) I thought it was only against vehicles. Thanks for the heads up, I will remember that for sure :D
He used the melta I’m sure took a kan out and snikrot
@@CMWargames I used it on the Kan, but not on Snikrot, that's why I CP re-rolled one of the ones to damage. However, the double one was six wounds with the plus two, thought it was only on vehicles though.
haven’t ran necrons much because they are seen as OP. but your joy makes me want to put together a fun list and just run them. thinking a warrior brick, monolith and some skorpekhs to start
Sounds like fun, they are pretty decent at the moment, but having been the underdog for so many years, I'll take it. Plus I know it won't last, especially with this new Ork Codex lol

Small error early on with the Acanthrites, they have the melta 2 keyword so they get bonus dmg when within 6". The reroll was needed regardless tho i think...6 dmg min?

Yeah, I thought meta only worked against vehicles for some reason (confused with an old edition probably). He had 6 wounds so didn't need to re-roll
Snikrot has 6 wounds so yeah forgot the extra dmg from melta though we mentioned it at start forgot to apply it.
Canoptek Court rules. Especially against short range slow armies like...erm...Votann. Make squats even more bitter!

First of Oh please please have a t shirt printed saying I hate you Richard on it and only wear it when you batting against Richard. I think you should be clearing the tray out for Rich most of the time when it’s his turns with the amount of dice he rolls lol. Well why I love orks volume of dice breaks most things. Glad you enjoyed and yes it’s close game not sure nick did a lot wrong other than not getting the secondaries he required last couple rounds

I'm such a 40k newb I only have one army at this point, but if any other army gave me a bit of envy in how they look it'd probably be the Orks. I remember when I was a kid I tried tp build Dark Eldar and Tyranid armies (and didn't get far), but its only now as an adult I have enough for 2000 points. Unfortunately I don't have the room for another army in my current circumstances, maybe I'll look at Orks in the far future.

Well orks are brilliant as are the really useful boxes and magnet sheets and magnet bases from warmag they make storage easier. But glad you enjoyed and there will be more orks coming over next month or so lol

What're those T shaped Do Not Cross tools for? And why 9" specifically?
It's for deep striking, to make sure you are 9" away
The ruler is 9 inches from point to curve so anything after the outer curve is more than 9” away so perfect for making sure you can get all your deepstrikes into a space
