I came looking for a possible better way to do it. This guy leaves the top pinched in the sunrider position, also you open the tailgate, you flip the little corner sections up onto the roof and when your pulling it back to bring all the way down, you hold those rear brackets and fold it which will hold the corner pieces in,then lay it down, since the tailgate is open you just go to the back and fold the one section into the rest of it then close the tailgate. Way less bulky, and you're not pinching anything this way. This video makes me want to make my own.
A jeep I'm looking at previous owner installed a Gobi Steath rack over soft top... Would I have to remove rack to be able to take off soft top? I want a hard top, and the directions of Gobi stealth manual says that removing hard top is easy just take off the ladder pc and slide backwards... If I get the jeep I dread removing the frame mounted rack T.T
Umm... Yeah. I suppose that's technically lowering and raising the soft top... It's also a sure fire way to wear out a soft top prematurely. You guys would have been doing your viewers a favor by just re-posting MOPAR's video on correctly lowering and raising a soft top.

he also forgot to mention making sure you unhook the sides of the top from the door frames so you dont break them
