I was a One Republic concert last fall when they opened for Zach Brown band... phenomenal concert! This guy has written so many songs for other artists, too (Beyoncé’s Halo, etc). Really good song writer!

Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty ... love his voice and how clear it is. Amazing on "Bright Lights" (MB20) and Santana's "Smooth." Kaleo's lead singer JJ Julius Son has a killer rock voice ("Way Down We Go," "No Good"). Also, the amazing Oleta Adams does a scintillating version of "Everything Must Change." One of the great soulful vocal tracks I've ever heard.

In this brief tutorial I try to let you know what needs to be done, but if you are serious about developing your voice, you will need to go deep and learn it all, not just tips & tutorials.You have to grow all parts of your voice. Hey Ken, can i ask a question. When you sing with distortion, aren't you basically carefully pullling your tongue up on your soft palate to trap the air?? I have built a quality tone for all these months and i started to add some distortion but im not sure if what im doing is correctlly
