In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' on our Patreon page (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access it here: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864 As an independent, consumer-oriented reviewer, we have fewer revenue-streams open to us than the majority of other channels out there, so we do ask for a small donation for access to this guide (as well as a free consultation and access to our other Patreon content). Thanks so much for your help!
Hi everybody, There's been a lot of talk lately about 'Greenwashing,' which is the process by which businesses promote their products as 'sustainable', 'eco-friendly' and so on, while in actual fact, their manufacturing processes and business models clearly show this to be nothing more than a marketing ploy. As soon as I heard about this concept (and even that several major companies have been penalized for it), I realized that this practice really defines the approach of virtually every major manufacturer in the stroller industry. If you'd be interested in reading more about this, please check out our article: 'Rampant Greenwashing in the Stroller Industry,' here: www.patreon.com/posts/rampant-in-38755846
Great video. I had the dilemma of choosing a travel stroller myself. I was considering GB pockit due to portability and weight but realized its all plastic. I decided to get a yoyo instead. Already bought the yoyo before watching this. I'm glad I still made the right decision.
I literally love your channel! Reading comments pushchair reviews people always throw in their favourite prams which makes my life harder loli started looking at the silver cross zen an was tempted by the price and how many places i could buy one thanks for this video
What would be a good alternative to the gb pocket plus. I need it primarily for taking it on a plane. It also will need to be durable also. Thank you in advance.
Hello! Im looking for a travel stroller to fit in the overhead cabin on an airplane. Which one do you recommend, silvercross jet or mountain buggy nano v3 or ergobaby metro+? I can not buy the yoyo its too expensive🙈 thank you!
Hello, what do you think of the gb pockit+ all city stroller? We are looking for a stroller thats not really expensive for walks and grocery trips that will pack up easily and small to fit in our small trunk with groceries and luggage... Any recommendations?
I have to disagree with some of the pockit plus review. We had one for our 2 and a half year old and the seat was not small. He was more than comfortable in it. Whilst I can’t argue with the long term engineering points, I can argue that it is not rickety and it was brilliant for town centres, retail parks, keeping in the car and quick trips too the local shop. Over all, if you want something Uber compact for an older child, it’s actually quite good.
I have pockit plus too, and honestly I got my money's worth. Not waiting hours in customs because I got out of the plane quickly was totally worth that extra 200 😄 but other than that it's an okay stroller, easy to fold and open, not heavy and fits in a backpack, I wouldn't plan on using something so compact on a not perfect surface, obviously it's not going to be comfortable, for that reason I have giant wheel stroller 🤣
Great video. I would like a compact stroller and on budget that works well for small outdoor walks. I have a Jané Rider, good stroller in my opinion but a bit heavy to bring downstairs, two flights that is. My son is a bit over 2. Any recommendation?
I assume you're talking about the bumper bar for the seat, and yes, I think they're very nice - in particular as an arm-rest for children or a means of carrying the seat-frame though - as the harness is generally the important part for child safety :)
I haven't heard of the Quid, but we're dying to review the Aer. The problem right now, though, is that Norway has closed off all shipping of goods other than emergency stuff until after the crisis :(
During the COVID, I have to travel with my new born. bugaboo ant is the best choice. 1) for new born, baby can face me 2) I can push the stroller right next to my airline seat 3) it is very strong, I can push onto the street in Europe 4) the material is of good quality. 5) the Baguio ant pocket is best stroller pocket I have ever bought. It can be closed and folded. 6) I like the back mesh bag access that allow me to take diapers etc on the plane without opening the stroller. But you must buy the leg rest. With Leg Rest, it’s the best travel stroller.
Totally agree, with the easy s twist. Terrible stroller. A wheel broke off after just 8 months, twice. The customer service is terrible, the company did not want to know. Paintwork chips easily, the hood also comes out with the pins sticking out. Ended up throwing it away. I had intended to buy the newborn insert for my second child, it didn't even last for the first. Avoid Cybex.
We actually love the Ant as a travel system for our infant car seat. It’s by far better then a doona setup. As for using it for our toddler, the seat is small but we do plan to buy the footrest on its release date this month. That should fix the leg issue.
We bought the leg rest for the Ant and our 18m old still looked squished and uncomfortable in it. The leg rest really doesn't extend out that much and the seat is already pretty short to begin with. It felt like a wasted 35€ on top of its 499€ price tag. In the end, we decided to sell the Ant and got the UPPAbaby Minu. Hope it does work out for you!
We’ve had it for the past 6 months and it’s easily the best ever! Folds super easily, is super light and fits everywhere. I’d always trust the German quality.
2019. The 2020 wasn't available at the time of this video, though I have my doubts as to whether they actually added ball-bearings with the 2020 version either, after the angry phone-call we received concerning our stand-alone review :)
It's the all-city, but everything I say in this video applies to the all-terrain variant as well. A lot of manufacturers think a few small changes to the wheels are all one needs to turn a fragile urban stroller into a dune buggy, but they're wrong :)
Thanks for your review! I just see that there is a new version of the cybex Eezy. Do you plan to do a review? Looks like the seat is now longer. I am looking for a compact but confortable stroller, any Rec? Many thanks
We might get to it eventually, but I'm really not a fan of Cybex engineering in general, or Cybex as a company (they are just a front for Goodbaby International who sells products with a lot of the same mediocre components under a variety of different brand names, there's an in-depth article about this on our Patreon page). As far as finding a compact but comfortable stroller, I would need a bit more information regarding your circumstances, but I recommend checking out our Buyer's Guide, there is a link in the comment pinned just below this video. :)
The Babyzen Yoyo is still the best for carryon and travel, imo, but I would recommend getting the Yoyo+ rather than the Yoyo2 for the free raincover, since otherwise the changes aren't very substantial. Also since it's being replaced by the Yoyo2, you can probably get it on sale :)
& the thng with the strollers is, their just like cars, once u drive um off the lot, they depreciate a lot. Getting wht u pay 4 is questionable 2 begin with thus resale value drops. I think strollers frm 20/ 25 yrs ago were fine, they fit in ur trunk, even twin strollers. Tho there were afw glitches with steering twin types w/ swivel wheels in frnt. If there was poor weight distribution but, the 1's they make 2day R outrageously priced considering wht u get & resale value suxx

T.b.h. I hate all of these lightweight strollers people use.i have seen toddlers on buses in these and the frame is flimsy and doesent look substantial. Personally I will stick with my uppababy vista pram until our 17 month old is 3

I agree, strap shoulder is the best to carry compact stroller as you always need to hold your baby 2 hands instead one hand.

Really useful comments, thank you so much! Releaved I didn’t go with any of those in the end😀

I've been torn between the Kinderkraft Nubi and the ABC Design Ping, any chance you may look into those?

I started my journey by wanting the gb pockit an im so glad i discovered all the other options i wouldnt have the gbp now if i was given it for free 😂

Hi! What do you think about stroller bumpers or front bars? Would you recommend it? Why or why not?
I assume you're talking about the bumper bar for the seat, and yes, I think they're very nice - in particular as an arm-rest for children or a means of carrying the seat-frame though - as the harness is generally the important part for child safety :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo yes that’s what i mean. Thanks so much for this reply!! :)
what are the ones you higly recommend?
Great unbiased information.

Very helpful. Thank you ❤️
Thanks for your reviews. The jet 2019 is currently half price in Canada for 249$ . Would that be a better bargain then vs the mountain buggy nano ?
No :)

Anyone used a Leclerc Influencer stroller? Have you tried taking it with you to an international flight as a cabin baggage?
Hi! What would be your say on the Hamilton strollers?
We’ve had it for the past 6 months and it’s easily the best ever! Folds super easily, is super light and fits everywhere. I’d always trust the German quality.
that first one, it’s like that cause the child isn’t sposed to sit in it while we turn it around to face us or frontwards
The eesy twist you are showing is not the one coming out in 2020. Do you have a review of the one of this year ?
Not yet. We'll have a look, when it comes to the stores here :)
When you discuss the SilverCross Jet, are you reviewing the 2019 or 2020 model? Thanks!

Hi the pockit + you have discussed, is it the all city or all terrain? Could you please advise if the all terrain one is any better than the all city?
It's the all-city, but everything I say in this video applies to the all-terrain variant as well. A lot of manufacturers think a few small changes to the wheels are all one needs to turn a fragile urban stroller into a dune buggy, but they're wrong :)
The stroller he reviews is the Pockit+ all terrain. all the GB "all terrain" strollers have dual wheels, the all city models have single wheels.
Thank you both
Thanks!! Loved it!!
would you count cybex eezy s twist 2 in this list as well? or is it better?
Yes

Hi between joolz aer and new 2020 silvercross jet?
Aer, all the way. :)
So which stroller would you recommend for a 1 year old that has to go on airplanes? We want compact and considered all the strollers in this video.
Is there a compact stroller video that we Should buy?
Yes, we have a top 3 video here: th-cam.com/video/hCiAcC78tDw/w-d-xo.html

Have you ever reviewed the Colugo Compact stroller?
No, I haven't seen the Colugo Compact before, unfortunately. The folding system looks similar to the Metro though :)

Don't like the ant it's ugly and my 2yr old was way to big in it!
