    In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' on our Patreon page (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access it here: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864 As an independent, consumer-oriented reviewer, we have fewer revenue-streams open to us than the majority of other channels out there, so we do ask for a small donation for access to this guide (as well as a free consultation and access to our other Patreon content). Thanks so much for your help!

    Would you ever review the Cybex Melio/Carbon? I know your thoughts on the company generally, and I think it's in the Gold class, but it seems to be not only more affordable but more practical as well - with the bigger basket and perhaps less of an issue with the footrest? Very curious to know your opinion on it. I live in a very well-paved desert city, so the lightweight mesh option (with larger basket) is very appealing to me. Thank you!

      I will cover it in the future, but I'm taking a break from Cybex (and all the other Good Baby International Ltd clones) for a little while right now. Their whole business model is a bit shady, imo. I'm currently writing an article about this, that will be available on patreon within a day or 2. That being said, I do actually like the Mios for your conditions. :)

    I got my mios 1 Ferrari special edition on sale about 10 months ago when my son was 16 months old and very needy and I needed a smaller stroller than my uppababy vista still with a reversible seat. I got it because of your review. And because I got such a good deal on it and it came with the seat back cushion. It also came with the maxi cosi car seat adapters that would have worked with my nuna pipa which would have been nice to use.

    Great review and full of helpful information. What would you consider to be the best alternatives to the Mios? The only thing that worries me, is the footrest width issue, when the baby grows. But the one handed fold and compact folded size is enticing, especially because the wife drives a Fiesta which doesn't have that big of a boot. Thanks!

      The Joolz Hub. The Mios is cool, but the Hub blows it out of the water for a reversible small-size daily model. Check out our review here: th-cam.com/video/iiwS8gHHIig/w-d-xo.html

    Hi everybody,
    There's been a lot of talk lately about 'Greenwashing,' which is the process by which businesses promote their products as 'sustainable', 'eco-friendly' and so on, while in actual fact, their manufacturing processes and business models clearly show this to be nothing more than a marketing ploy. As soon as I heard about this concept (and even that several major companies have been penalized for it), I realized that this practice really defines the approach of virtually every major manufacturer in the stroller industry. If you'd be interested in reading more about this, please check out our article: 'Rampant Greenwashing in the Stroller Industry,' here: www.patreon.com/posts/rampant-in-38755846

    Love your vids and bought a bugaboo buffalo because of your (logical) recommendation. Did you ever get your hands on the brand "Hartan" from Germany? Super ugly strollers, but I think you would love them.

    • @sumairadaud
      @sumairadaud 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      they are ugly! lol...I'm from Germany and see them here often. I would only trust his opinion on them as he gets down to the engineering instead of just looking at the looks. Wonder what he thinks of them...

    could you please show how to maintenance mios? It's a bit hard for me to fold down mine, I think some lubricant is needed, but don't know which area/part should be sprayed. Thank you very much.

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends a little bit on where it feels like it's jamming up. But if you're not sure, then I'd start out with WD40, and aim it at the cracks everywhere where it could run down inside and hit the folding components. If it's a lubrication problem, this should fix it. If not, contact Cybex - it's very important to hold mega-corporations like GB International responsible for their products, for the health of the globe :)

    Great review!! Is it ok to put a buggy board on this?

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't personally recommend buggy boards, as they put too much pressure on the rear frame (of all strollers), and cause them to wear down a lot faster. That being said, Cybex (and most manufacturers) disagree, and sell one that fits the Mios. :)

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo

      Mios (if price isn't a factor). But it's not quite fair, since it's a small-size daily model and the Minu is only an ultra-compact (so it has less size and weight to play with). Among ultracompacts, the Minu is the most robust, among small-size daily models, the Joolz Hub and the Emmaljunga NXT 30 / 60 are the most robust. But I have to admit, I do like the Mios - the lower portion of the chassis, in particular, is quite clever :)
