Thank you for tuning in
500k ..... i smell cap. 16 years in the industry.... half consulting. BS
Hating not a good look on you 😂😂
@@TechTualChatter "hate" .... arent yall tired of using that as a excuse when you cant back up claims that dont make sense. Lets be mature here. Not even FAANG after stock options is 500k most times. Youd have to be running a MSP or something similar to bring in that type of consulting bread
@@relly793 if you really knew what you were talking about then you’d know FAANG isn’t the only way to get paid
So does he have a bachelor’s degree to be at $500,000. Doing a Cybersecurity Bootcamp now. But I wanted to know if I need a 2 year degree or bachelors to even be considered for a position like him? Thank you. I enjoy hearing both of your perspectives.
He has a bachelor's, but what really got him his total comp is his experience in the field. Get your bachelor's, though & get an internship in cyber if that's where you want to end up to help you break into the field.
Experience is key/90% of what matters.
Get it wherever and however you can
From a customer point of view, Optiv are terrible, its like they dragged the analysts off the street, they are clueless
Maybe on the mss side but on the fusion center side the analyst are better because they work with dedicated clients
@@TechTualChatter 🤣Fusion was even worse.
@jjjjjkkkkk not ours will Atleast when I was there 😂 we had the biggest contract
This is embarrassingly misleading. Y’all need to stop telling people this comp like it’s common and like anyone can do it. It’s not like that. This whole thing is a farce.
Man shut up 😂😂😂
If you watch the episode we never said anybody can get this comp
@@TechTualChatter I’m talking about this video and your other content. I’m 98% certain you’re leveraging the recent wave of hope among folks trying to ‘get into tech’ to fuel their very unrealistic idea of their shot (chance) at the bigger dollars. I’m not naive. You’re promoting the field strictly on the basis of earning potential, hence the emphasis you placed on TC. You’re not fooling everyone, my guy. Why not focus on what the work actually entails instead?
@@0xggbrnr you’re not familiar with my content at all
@@TechTualChatter Yeah, okay. lol
This is black culture
I’m in this field…500k? 🧢🧢🧢
With multiple jobs definitely possible.
Credit karma was offering me 300k base salary last year
500k total comp is doable
Chris, you've to know this isn't entry-level pay but people who are usually seniors or have years of experience. This is total compensation meaning your base salary+ stocks and bonuses.
@@DJGewd You can get that with one job depending upon your level. It’s not uncommon
@@DCJ2603 500k is not uncommon. Really?
