Just gonna say this now, you’re not missing out much for the twitch exclusive stuff snake. It’s mostly moment to moment gameplay modifications. Like all the trucks being thinner or wider. Lasers coming off the beds of the trucks. Inverted controls, being unable to land on trucks and only bouncing on them. And the truck exploding after a short moment after you step on it. Meaning you have to keep moving
Oh, I didn't know they nerfed the last level. I suppose that was warranted, what an unsatisfying pain to get it done it was. And I think I played it patched too...
You should try spinning it around you, kick flipping it the entire time. It adds momentum every contact so if you hit it right... Warp speed. Use that in combination with Spawn Truck and you've got a midair cannon to shoot yourself out of. It's how all the [CSH] tagged people high on the scoreboards got their initial massive boost of speed on half the levels, heh.
Cool and fun little game. It reminds me of the days of the PS1/Dreamcast era, where you could have such a game be a best seller. A solid core gameplay with replay value and a quirky theme was all a game like this needed.
***** Not really. First Person platformers have been perfectly playable on the PS1, Jumping Flash for example and that was with the D-Pad. And something like the Dreamcast which did have an analog stick and plenty of fast paced 3D platformers like Sonic Adventure, could handle something like this, minus the physics engine.
***** The Saturn did have an analog controller that came with Nights into Dreams which was the basis for the Design of the Dreamcast. The Dreamcast controller had a D-Pad, An analog stick, face button, triggers, and a slot for the vmu cards which had the integrated screen. I definitely do agree on the redesign part. Same as I said with the physics engine, where if this game was to be on the dreamcast back in the day, a lot of the games core design had to be altered to not include physics.

If you want a really good first persoon platformer I highly recommend Titanfall 2
