pretty much the opposite: commits horrific acts for kind reasons. in most of Henry's supports he openly says he would kill someone or something for someone
@@CodeDonutz i agree. in miriel's supports he planned to essentially create life so that pregnant women wouldn't have to endure the wait and pain of childbirth.... but i'm sure creating life through magic would involve some pretty horrific things.
@@danielwu2673 Oh no, Henry is actually attracted to his own death, I think he even casually asks for someone to kill him and his disappointed that they didn't, but that at least he can find a cool way to die.
Fun fact: in the Japanese version, this support contained a detail about Panne's past. She mentioned how Henry reminded her of her brother, who was killed by humans. For some reason the localization removed all references to her brother. (I can see why they removed them from the S, because comparing the man you're about to marry to your brother is.... yeah. But they could have tried to fit it in somewhere else)
that was...bizarrely heartwarming...coming from Henry. I actually really respect Panne's value for life, and Emmeryn is my hero, so Panne's respect for her makes me like the deadly bunny even more. I would like to think that Panne teaches Henry to care about other's a little more. Between her and Olivia, he might actually grow a heart.
I didn't ship this at first because Panne felt more like a big sister or mother figure to Henry in this one. And then I found that one official colored manga where Panne thinks Henry is like her (dead) little brother and Henry thinks she's like his (dead) wolf maternal figure. That killed it even harder for me At least this is one of Henry's most interesting supports platonically, since it shows what kind of guy he is and also lets us in on his abadonment issues
You know. It's weird how Henry being a Grimleal isn't brought up more often now that I think about it... But yeah I did enjoy the supports I suppose. I also forgot how perfect Bryce Papenbrook was as Henry, haha!
I like how Panne actually calls Henry out on his fucked up shit. "You are a child tearing wings from flies, and nothing more." But I do think this shows how Henry doesn't have a concept of morals because of his parents neglecting him. And he progresses in becoming a better person during the time he spends with Panne. The S support is actually really sweet, in my opinion. It sort of parallels Panne's S support with Robin. This isn't my favorite pairing, but it's one that I could actually get behind and grow to love. Plus...dark knight Yarne sounds intriguing.
hella years later but i always stop at A because it seems like he wants (without knowing it) someone more like a mother figure (not literally a mother, but the type of person that can teach, scold, and otherwise guide and do it through languagr).
He was an unwanted child, so I think his story is that his parents tried to get rid of him when he was very young, but was raised by the animals instead. I think we can deduce that he survived, was eventually found out and send back to his parents who then decided to use the school has a way to finally be done with him. That's my reading of it, anyway.
According to the Cherche support, a village murdered the animals he was with, so he essentially murdered everyone there. Given that you believe he was found out and sent to his parents, I'm sure that's not hard when you just committed that much homicide.
Henry, speaking out against religious inequality, defending female abortion (actually just called pregnancy stupid and said let's make kids without pregnancy), and helping people with their sleep issues... He's probably the nicest guy you would ever meet, and the funniest part is that if you kill his friends...There will be blood!
Anyone else notice that Henry proposing to Panne did not seem to have any romantic feelings harbored behind it like when he confesses loving Olivia or Lissa?
He doesn't care, he even blows off the idea of religion and the idea of fighting for Plegia. He has no sense of morals (most likely do to being ignored by his parents) and as a result he really just doesn't fight for a cause. He just fights because he likes death. If you really think about it, its about as sad as it is sadistic, but his cheerful and somewhat carefree attitude make him very likeable and seemingly optimistic. He is easily one of my favorite characters in the game.
Hmmm, here he said he was abandoned in the woods, in others he was ignored, and in some he was sent to a wizard camp. Is he lying or just saying half truths. 5:43 Dang, Panne's mother instincts kicking in.
It seems that he was first neglected by his parents and practically raised by animals, then he went berserk and slaughtered tons of people after his wolf friend was killed and then he was sent to the wizard camp of dangerous experiments/"institution" of terrible punishments where he allegedly killed 100 people with a single curse one time and then he became who he was before joining up with us. Quite the messy history
"You are strange and unpleasant. Do not speak to me again."

Fire Emblem Logic. XD
How do you talk to your friends?
+Cam108
Reminds me of how me and my best friend met! AH the memories!
+Terrencethetitan I would like to hear this story
Have you seen the A-Rank support between Noire and Laurent? There's more Fire Emblem Logic there, too.
*Henry and Panne attained support level C.*
Me: are you sure about that?
"Please don't abandon me like my parents did."
Mr Instigator I'm not crying you're crying

Panne: "Of course not. I hate humans. I've always hated humans."
Panne in Libra support: "Despite our, history, I've never hated mankind. The exalt proved your race's worth."
lol. Contradictions ahoy.
Might be a translation error. She might dislike humans for the long run - but find some others humans to be worthy (like Emm).

Easy

I read about it and as it turns out henry's actually an amazing father.
I know, right? I think it's really cute, cause Henry reminds me of my dad minus the whole running around killing people thing :P
C: I hate you
B: You're okay, but I still hate you
A: I guess I have to teach you about how not to murder everyone
S: I guess we're married now
Hey, isn`t that pretty much how every marriage works? Atleast it works mostly true in FE.
Henry doing his way to Panne in a nutshell
Henry's line about not wanting to be alone hurts when you realize Panne dies before her husband
I just...felt my heart crack a bit.
Oh gawds, Henry isn't smiling, for the first time
why am I thinking about this
At least there's always Yarne.
“Are you eager for me to kill you, boy?”
*_”Aww, thank you for the offer, but no thanks!”_*
This is why Henry is precious.

Panne is more like a maternal figure here than a spouse.

Henry helping the exalt just to extend the war is like purposely turning the game to overtime just to get more potential kills.
