That is a hard question to answer, depends on what you are using it for. I would use either a LPVO of your choice, or a low profile red dot like a Sig Romeo 5. You could ask that question to 10 different gun guys and get 10 different answers.
I'm not a 5.7 guy and I don't like to be critical of firearms I haven't fired. With that said, this seems to be a strange creation. Considering what it was intended for, it seems odd to make a single shot in this caliber. If it's a minimalistic firearm, where are the iron sights? There are several other "survival" rifles that are more capable and are not single shot. I'd even prefer one of those folding PCC's, at least most of them have a higher capacity and there's a nice PCC with a folding stock in 5.7. Thanks for bringing this out for people to see, Stay safe.
I'm not a big fan of the 5.7. I would love a gun like that if it was in .357 magnum. Same goes for the Rossi Tuffy. 45Colt and .410 is a neat combo but, the ammo is pricy. A .357 Magnum would let you shoot 38 special and would be a much cheaper ammo option. I have been looking for a single shot, compact, lightweight, .357 magnum carbine for awhile now for used as a survival/bug out gun.
I have a few guns in 45 colt/410 in my opinion and testing, you can do more with them as a survival rig over alot of other ones, including 357. Yeah 45 colt and 410 can be pricey, but 357 isn't all that far behind if any from what I've seen. Plus bein chambered for 2.5 or 3 inch i have the ability to use adapters, for things such as, 22lr, 380, 38 special, 9mm and if im not mistaken 45acp aswell. I have one for 22lr, 9mm and 38 special, no mabey not the most accurate, but they definitely work and ive used the 22lr adapters to dispatch game on trap lines and other things.
I saw this rifle. I have a single shot CVA Scout V2 Takedown in 300 Blackout. Mine is a stronger rifle, chambered in a much better cartridge, and costs just a little bit more at $400. It fits in a 20" bag, and assembled is about 36 inches long. BTW, it shoots sub MOA with several different weights of bullets.
Unique but not convinced me, I prefer a winchester 1892 in .44mag or an old mauser improved mecanism or a simple 12 gauge or .22lr , tks for the discovery however ;)
Eh, this is pretty gimmicky. I appreciate you showing it off but a single shot rifle that’s $379 plus whatever taxes, shipping, and FLL fees? Basically looking at a $450-$500 single shot in a caliber that’s typically around $1 per round. Just not worth it when there’s AR7s around for the same price or better with all the same fees included
man that thing is quite.............
Can you hide it in a crutch?
What scope or red dot would you recommend for this firearm

@RattlesnakeDefense thank you for your answer the firearm is going to be a bug out item that's what it will be used for
My opinion, save space, use a small profile red dot and carry extra batteries.
They should of made it mag fed through the grip.
A 'survial rifle' with no iron sights? That's a swing and a miss...
Valid criticism.
Is the audio going out when you discharge it or is that editing?
Just a backup microphone not reacting to gunfire well
